    congratulations x
  • We're getting married March 2011 and have found the venue we want but haven't booked yet - will do towards the end of this year - they said there was no hurry as it's a friday. Lots of ideas but nothing actually decided yet!
  • Quick update from me :)

I now have the venue (Whoohooo!!)
    The Photographer (need to confirm)
    The second celebrants
the registrar is booked (£417 for the day OUCH!)
Paulie found his own outfit on line and it's ordered, I know it's ages away but its gotta come from america
Decided on a dress and who's making it :)
    Bought table centers
    bought head dress thingy
bought but not recived a medieval style belt for my dress.
    Booked the fireworks people
waiting for a quote from the caterers but I think we've decided on which one.
sourced a broom stick (we're jumping over it in our second ceremony ;) )

    Next jobs
Save the dates and Hard hats :)
Coooooor blimey this wedding lark takes over doesnt it :)

Ohhh and, rather that having the medival theme room dressers, we're looking at medieval crockery. Hand thrown pottery that the guests could keep instead of favours... a platter, a goblet and a handled soup bowl. Two birds with one stone then. And comes in under my room dressing budget (small wedding can you tell?) Just need to add candles, table cloths, 2 standards, a table runner, fake ivy garlands and baskets for breads and fruits (if the caterer doesnt have them)

    Nixie

  • Is it too early to buy my dress???

I've been struggling with the same thing. I really really want to but my figure may change before then (god knows, I want it to, LOL).

But I've just seen my 'chosen' dress on ebay for quite a good price in a size 10... arrgh :rotfl:
  • My mum drives me to the station every morning and we have to pass a bridal shop which has a sale on. All was fine until I was driving that way myself yesterday and saw "my" dress in the window. In the sale.

Quick go get it before someone else does :)
  • Is it a style that could be altered if need be???
