Longer to save up aswell and your venue prob wont need as much decorating. I would love a xmas wedding i think there dead romantic and gorgous but cant do with cold lol0 -
My big sis got married late november. She had the dress she wanted and a full length cloak trimmed in swansdown to keep her warm between venues and outside the church. Looked gorgeous.
The same can not be said for us poor bridesmaids who were in sugar pink dresses with waist length capes with what looked like feather boa's tacked on. I sooooo dont do pink I'm ivory pale it makes me look ill :rotfl:
Ahh well was her day!
She arrived in horse and carriage and when she got out the cloak swept down behind her like something out of Narnia <sigh> fairytale as it should be I guess.
So a winter wedding could be fab
Longer to organise too.
But if you really dont want to do it then - have a chat with your OH. I'm sure he'll be understanding
<dreaming of snow confetti. - oooh could you get a snow machine in case it doesnt snow? I could get carried away for you LOL :rotfl:>"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.0 -
when i told my mother we wanted a winter wedding she said she would only come if we had a snow machine! haha i love the idea of a winter wedding now just means the beach theme is out of the windows but the list for favours is now never ending! so thanks for the confidence boost! xx0
