Elbereth, you must be getting married on the same day as me - 21st May? Can't believe how quickly it's coming now! So exciting!

I have most major things covered now, apart from trying to find a hairdresser, which is worrying me a bit now, as we're getting so close to the big day. Then it'll just be favours, flowergirls' shoes and hair decorations, and just little bits and bobs.

hey ladies, 8 weeks and 5 days to go.... it's real this IS happening!! :j I shall update you all a little, I would love to hear updates from you guys toooooooo!!

Starting to pay all the suppliers now and that's slightly depressing but I'm trying not to focus on that!

I ordered a new dress for my hen night yesterday (a girl has to treat herself - couldnt resist was 50% off!) and have ordered my underwear for the day too.

Spent 2 hours on saturday doing my table plan (organising it not making it) was pretty chuffed when it was all done but then OH phoned a guest who RSVP'd as a no and said they could bring the kids if it helped and so now I have 4 people to add to my table plan! Bloomin nightmare! Ah well!

Next weekend I need to start making the order of service but thankfully I have roped my dad in to help with this one! Off to the vicarage on Wednesday night for a meet and greet...should I take a little something with me or not, I dont know whats the done thing!?

Yeah! 21st May!!!! Woop! Lets all hope for sunshine! Am just making some arrangements for the hen do! Had a full on weekend of wedding arrangements! Wine tasting was fun! My sister tried on her bridesmaid dress and she looks beautiful and went to see florist!!!

Getting there slowly and surely, heading to buy other half a suit and get wedding rings on sat!!! Hows everyone getting on?

We finalised cake arrangements at the weekend and sorted out the gift list as people have been going on and on about it! Going to see the venue on Thursday to finalise food and drink choices and give them the first set of numbers (final numbers due at the end of april I think)

Oh, and I think we've decided what I am going into- it's the Vitamin String Quartet version of Coldplay's 'Yellow' a sample of which can be heard HERE This is the beginning of it and it has a nice sort of build up to it so I would enter at the point where they are playing the lyrics- if you see what I mean...

ooo I don't know what the done thing is.. but we didnt take anything.

Aggh we better get paying a few things I think! So excited at the mo, the weeks are flying by!!! Sorted hair trial and dress fitting so getting there very slowly!

Oh dear, no suppliers have started chasing me for money yet, is this bad? LOL!

Am sat with a face mask on and trying to drink a cuppa tea which is not easy! am starting my beauty regime which I meant to start after christmas but didnt but now am making a real effort to reguarly exfoliate and deep condition and cleanse everything!!! x

God, everytime I Look at here it reminds me how behind I am. I seriously have no excuse with not working. Well, I suppose the 2 children keep me busy!

I still have to:
Find hair dresser
Order cake
Get baptism certificates and letters of freedom
Send invites
Find shoes
Find bridesmaids shoes
Keep my fingers crossed one bridesmaid has dieted enough for her dress!
Book linen hire, chair covers
Buy all hall decorations, work out if I can actually make drapes
Actually decide where people will go for reception drinks
Decide photo lineups
Decide first dance song
Arrange church flowers
Decide on order of service
Arrange suit hire
Buy rings!

No doubt a million other things!

Went to the venue last night and finalised food and drink. Instead of the 'finger buffet' we originally wanted (we wanted an informal and almost party-ish atmosphere) we have ended up going for a fork buffet so now I have to worry about a seating plan (which I didn't want to), place cards, more chair covers and more table decorations (we originally planned 10 tables and top table but now it looks like it will be 14 tables and the top table. *sigh*
