Hello! I'm 28th May 2011 too!
We've booked the venue (having ceremony there too), and the photographer. Sorted out the registrar too. I've also found my dress, but I told the bridal shop that I'm getting married next year, after seeing the looks my friend got when she started looking as early as I have. Found the dress I want but holding off until about 9 months previous to the wedding to order it from Landy.
As our date is a bank holiday (and is also our anniversary of getting together) I wanted to get the main things booked early so that we could have a good choice of suppliers0 -
I'm a June 2011 bride, and at the moment we are looking around at venues.
Though I've been daydreaming, and found my flower girl / bridemaid dresses0 -

ooooooooooooo a date twin lol. Tell me bout it i told one shop when i was actually getting married and they just chucked us out they wouldnt let me look at any dresses or anything just told me come back next year i wont be thou.
i want to get everything booked erly then i can start paying things off0 -
i have the venue booked, the registrar provisionally booked (as you can't book them until 12 months before), i know the dress i want but won't be trying any on yet as there's no point as you can't guarantee it'll fit you in 2011 and i think it'll put me off of wanting to look about, i have my cake stand, invites for evening and day (got them in a clearance at tesco), i have my shoes and a few other bits and bobs.
Not booking photographer yet because of the current state of the financial climate i'll leave that until next may at the earliest as i still want to feel like i am getting married rather than doing it all at once.
Most importantly my wedding insurance!0 -

Date triplet!
We've provisionally booked our reception venue, bought place cards, my tiara, guest book, favour bags, materials for invites and (importantly) insurance. We're also about to book our chair covers.
The only thing keeping us from paying the deposit on the venue is I need to take my dad round as he's in a wheelchair and wants to check the facilities!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
kayleigh_b69 (who started the Landy Bridal thread) is also 28th May 20110

I'm May 1st
And I was almost sorted - until I hated my main venue and found the second venue to be impractical.
Pretty set on the dressbut who knows what shape I'll be then

What size magnets did you go for? We're thinking of doing the same thing... waiting for a decent offer to come through though, recently they've only been offering 10 free etc.
The W2B and I are getting married on the 29th April 2011!0
