I have finally requested my MAC. Was told it would take 24-48 hours to generate!!! OK fine. The guy said he would put me through to customer service to see if they could offer me anything better. I said I didn't want line rental from them, and the next voice was from cancellations. "I DO NOT want to cancel I want my MAC so I will have it ready when I decide on a new ISP." She says to phone tomorrow for my MAC and when I change ISP to phone and they will cancel. "I don't want to lose service, I want to go straight to the new ISP." So.... we will see if they actually requested my MAC or if I have to start again. Oh yeah, great UK based customer service???0

Yea! Finally had my MAC, they first said it was lost in the system, then would do it manually, so that finally happened today. Went straight to O2 website, two free months, but unfortunately not in O2 area so only Access. Still going to work out cheaper, but I DON'T CARE. Must be honest and say few complaints with Primus, really want faster connection without changing line rental, ect...(hope I haven't spoken too soon)
One question, when should I phone to let them know I want to cancel? They said I could write, email or phone. When I have a date for change over?0 -

Never made much difference though as they kept billing me, so keep an eye out after you leave for any rouge bills from Primus0 -
Personally I would write to them and send it by recorded delivery. I know it sounds a bit extreme but I wish I had done it when I left them, they billed me for months for BB after I left. Good Luck with it, I'm sure you will be fine.0

Yet another printed bill sent out, this time for a bigger credit than the last one!
Told Primus, yet again, that i was no longer a customer, since November last year, and as i owed them nothing, to place the account to a value of zero, and to stop sending out these bills.
Fingers crossed that this time, they might actually take it in this time.0 -
The switch to o2 was yesterday. Previously asked Primus guy if he could email me info about final bill... said there was one final bill, which is correct, and that after o2 took over that was all I needed to do and the account would be cancelled...

Yes it certainly looks like you are getting a terrific deal, but has anyone else noticed how any of the links that might look like they take you to some sort of company information, location etc, are all broken? Sorry, even if they ARE genuine, WHY would you want to but something from someone that clearly cant even sort their own site out? Dodgy looking to me.:eek:0
