Just had the postie pop by. Got a nice little card/letter from myseasonsholidays.com informing me that I had won a prize worth almost 4000 squid. For a second I was over the moon thinking wow, I've really done it, I've hit a biggie!!! But as that thought sank in the name began to look familiar so I popped online to check and sure enough found this thread near the top.

What a load of cod! Thanks for all the links...I'ma not bother calling the scammers now! Cheers MSEs :beer:

Wow amazing how many received the letter! To be honest I thought he would have been a bit happier for me on the phone! Maybe had an inkling at that point, he was so calm and just took details! Anyway hopefully we will all win a legit prize soon fingers crossed x

The other company to watch out for is CLC or Club La Costa.

Sorry to hear you had such a let down. I was lucky enough to qualify.

WAS IT A SCAM. NO!. The prize was genuine and yes after checking it out, it does have the value they say. It's their marketing tool and they are prepared to put their money where their mouth is. So if you have a little will power, do it.

All you have to do is have the strength to say 'NO THANKS', I'm fine with my free membership. I DID and now I have a 7 day holiday and a 4 day short break for less than the cost of a long weekend in a decent hotel. The accommodation is great and the staff are friendly. The rest is up to you.
Do you turn down a two for one in TESCO because it's 'to good to be true', I dont think so.
