it doesn't look good does it Sammy?
Where are you thinking of trying to sell the tix? ebay? You could put them on now for a 24 hour sale special delivery guaranteed before 12pm next day. The buyer would then receive them Thursday. It will up your p&p costs though..
 hth,

Crossed posts Sarah, sorry - like minds though
Hope you get bids, fingers crossed.
I'm prob being thick, but wondered if there's no possibility of getting refunds through the booking company on your respective tickets Sarah, Sammy? If not refund then vouchers to use another time?

Not for me. Booked through the show's official website, and they use Seetickets to power their booking engine. From See's website:
"Can I cancel or change my booking?
We regret that we cannot exchange, refund, transfer or return tickets unless the event in question is cancelled or details of the event are significantly changed (for example, show time, venue, date etc)"
 and:
"I can’t make the performance - can I exchange my tickets or get a refund?
Unfortunately not. See has a policy of no refunds or exchanges. The only exception is if the event is cancelled or rescheduled."
I guess they do that because people book tickets so far in advance, and if they allowed refunds/exchanges they'd have too many of them to deal with.
Have had a couple of people contact me via eBay and make offers below the opening bid price, but not as much as I'd like to get back if possible. Got 11 watchers so fingers crossed one of them bites. I will lose some money, so I plan to write a strongly worded letter to National Express once the strike is over, listing all my costs, and seeing if I can get anything at all out of them. I doubt it, but it'll make me feel a bit better! 0 Got 11 watchers so fingers crossed one of them bites. Have you considered driving to either Colchester or The O2 or is that not really an option?0

Can't get refunds or exchange tickets unfortunately. We have decided to try and get lifts to colchester - not ideal with a travel sick child though - and then hope we get on the train there and back. The show is a matinee one so hopefully we'll make it onto the train - hubby got the timetable and trains are running hourly until about 9 pm I think.
Really not happy though as it's ruined our week trying to sort things out and worrying about money etc. Not sure what to do about next weeks plans as yet. Will probably have to cut short our stay and lose out on the hotel money.
It's at times like this that I wish we could afford our own car!0

How did you guys do selling your tickets?
Guess we're all assuming the strikes are going ahead again tomorrow and Friday? No update on the website yet..

Had a few offers for my tickets but would have meant losing loads of money on them.
Mum and I have decided sod it! Bob Crowe and his band of workshy deluded monkeys aren't going to stop our fun! We have booked a hotel in the West End and are going to the show, then on for cocktails and then to bed.
Actually better than the usual theatre night of great fun at show -> cramming onto Central Line -> onto the Vomit Comet from Liverpool Street at midnight.0
