Really Cheap Games @ PC World (merged)

i popped into a pc world superstore and picked up a genma onimusha and headed to the till....

the guy working there clearly had no idea!

some guy ahead of me had a microsoft joystick and was asked ' is that for personal or business use?'......

i just paid and left laughing!!

Managed to find the number one resource so far though, if you can find the product codes, Curry's store CS can look up stock at your nearby Currys/Dixons stores and reserve them for you. At this point it would be useful for everyone to post their product codes (they're on the receipts), as they are difficult to find otherwise.

Their number is 08701545570, or 0500 304304 according to saynoto0870.com

As an example, I got 7 xbox games and 2 dvds from Currys Reading today, so you might well be lucky. I'd advise you to be very friendly and ask if there are any more that are cheap. If you can see a stock report, you'll be able to see any cheap games they have in stock. They've often got a number of games in folders that have been removed to use the cases on the display, which people steal (??? empty cases?) so they end up with just the discs. I got 5 like that recently.

Tried Curry's at Clifton Moor yesterday, the only game I found that was on my son's list - knights of the old republic scanned at £24 something so came out empty handed. Worth a try though!
