Really Cheap Games @ PC World (merged)

Whilst I know for definate that this is going on in Dixons stores, I cannot confrim it for PCworld. Even thought hey are teh same group company,they operate different pricing.

It is wrong to call it an offer, or to look for it highlighted somewhere, as it is jsut old stock at stupid prices, not a special offer.

PCworld, hardly ever know whena deal is on or not, many times I have had to question about offers in the paper and found they know nothing, I am of to a PC world now, so will check a few games, and let you know my findings, for now though stick to Dixons!

It is on in PCWORLD but you are much better off at dixons;) There are loads @ 47p, just need to find out how to look in 'the book'

I was going to pop down after work to Kinnarid as well Where the prices at full price instead of the 47p price parkside_stroller ?

Seriously, you have to just ask them to check the prices, doesn't surprise me that the staff don't know. Have done this at 3 Dixons stores so far, they've all been happy to do that. Slightly disappointingly they couldnt find the discs for 3 of the ones that were cheap in Camberley today, but I still got 5 more

If anyone knows any more games that are reduced, please post or PM me and I'll add them to the list.

This offer is on in Currys too, all part of the same group. Checked the Milton Keynes store, the guy behind the counter checked the stock, about 10 games listed @47p but had none left.

I went into Curry's and they had a couple at 47p (I asked them to scan about 30) but they didn't have any actually in stock even though the box was on display (True Crime X-Box was one).

Has anybody found any more to add to the list - I'm going to try a Dixon's tomorrow first thing.

Tried both Edinburgh PCWorlds and check with customer services for East Kilbride and Stirling. Apparently this has been one for a while. Will check Currys tomorrow and let everyone know.
