Just thought I would give a quick update.
I notice many of you are saying there is very little in store, well in the south there is plenty. I was able to walk into stores in 4 towns on saturday and buy around 40 games and movies, thanks to the list on here already and some helpful staff.
The games are out there, just got to find em. It really does come down to each individual store. The 47p has been around for a while, and some stores have acted quickly, with advertising etc.. adn cleared most of them, others have not been as fast of the draw.
My adive to anybody after these games, is if you walk into a store and find a load of games in dump bins with clearance on em, then you most likely aint gonna find anything at 47p, maybe a few at a fiver or jsut under. If howwever you walk into a store and only find normal displays of games, then go throuhg em with a fine tooth comb and u will find at least one bargain for you to grab.
For example I went into PCworld Crawley and they had a large display of clearance games, adn found none of the 47p titles, I went into the Currys next door, who had nothing like that and found 7 on the shelves, incorrectly priced, but if you know the titles then your sorted.

Gotta Love a Bargain!0 -
Walked in to PC World near Old Trafford and politely asked the lady at the till to scan a game for me. May as well have just offered to defecate on her face for all she cared, her attitude stank. First of all she bluntly stated 'The price is right there' (£29.99) and pointed to the box as as if I were blind and stupid. I then pointed out that there was an offer on and that I wanted to know exactly what the discount price was (there was a 20% off sticker on the box). Reluctantly she agreed and then told me, very matter of factly, as if she'd done me a massive favour, that it was £15.99. At this point I erroniously decided to point out that 20% off £29.99 wasn't £15.99 to show her why I wanted to scan the box and she then decided to argue with me how 20% off £29.99 was £15.99. At this point her colleage walked off, presumably emabarassed at her complete lack of customer service or intelligence.
And companies wonder why more and more people use the internet...0 -
Its been posted loads of times before but I still chuckle when I see it.....
