Hi
Wasn't at the auction so I'm waiting for an email outling what did and didn't sell.
Listings are doing well on ebay.
I'm feeling rotten at the moment. Just been to the doctor again. He's referring me back to the hospital - which I was trying to avoid - been there before, and still had to deal with problems and issues afterwards.
Feel like running away at the moment!

Sorry to hear you're having a blue period and that your Doc has referred you back to Hospital :grouphug: <
this apparently is a 'group hug' symbol and not a suggestion that we should have a three way orgi.....just in case....
Just try and focus on the things you have acheived so far and keep yourself busy so that your mind doesn't have time to wander and over-analyze everything.
Do you have much to keep you busy during the day?
I find it easy to get into a low feeling period if I don't keep myself occupied, and once you get into that mind set it's hard to pull yourself up out of it. But you must.
My new venture for the evenings this week is jam making! I am going to go Blackberry picking and have a go at making some blackberry and apple jam! If it turns out ok I'm going to make a huge batch and sell it at the next car boot along with the other bits - hopefully it will draw more attention to the stall!

Hi Hettie
Sorry you're feeling so bad. Katy has some good suggestions there.... but I know what its like when you're feeling down cos you're feeling bad (that what I *think* you're saying anyway) - I've just had swine flu, and been physically low for ages and ages and ages after it, and I ended up feeling low emotionally too - bored, tired all the time, it was horrible. Try to give yourself a treat that doesn't cost anything, even if its looking up at the sky and breathing deeply, or going to the local shop and saying hello (going in looking for something you *know* they don't have)
Hope you feel better soon

Hettie - I'm not sure if this would be a useful suggestion or not in your situation - but would you benefit from doing some volunteer work, in a charity shop for instance? I did it for a small period of time and I absolutley loved it!! You get to chat to loads of lovely people and it really helped me boost my confidence. It would give you something to do when you were feeling at a loss and also it's great having a good old nose at all the goodies that come in!

I think your idea is really good Katy. I am trying to find some voluntary work myself (although I have a phobia of charity shops - don't ask) as when you sit at home all day your mind wanders and thinks of things you would rather not think of and plays tricks on you (well mine does anyway) and you get insanely bored.

I think this is true for anybody DF. At the moment I am only seeing my boyf at the weekends, however, I do actually enjoy being on my own and get stressed if I don't have enough 'me' time. But I think everybody is guilty of letting their minds play tricks on them as you say. I think keeping yourself busy is paramount if you are that way inclined.
DF, do you like working with animals? If you have a phobia of charity shops :p maybe you could volunteer at a local animal rescue shelter, one of my friends works at the RSPCA (paid though) and she absolutely loves it! Or maybe you could do admin work for a charity organization instead of being in the actual shops. Or get involved with organizing fund raising?HSBC Loan [STRIKE]£5845.83[/STRIKE] £2500 Barclay Card [STRIKE]£1085.76[/STRIKE] £592.74 Barclays Overdraft [STRIKE]£1100[/STRIKE] £600
