How about using it to make burgers, if right in remembering venison is low fat. The other week I got Mr M's pork and venison meatballs so that could be a relatively easy choice to put together....At least the fish fingers are still frozen, that's what I keep telling myself (Truly Madly Deeply)0

Venison meatloaf ?
Never actually made it with venison but have done it with beef, pork, turkey etc so imagine it would work.
Usually have it hot with spuds and veg then cold next day in sandwiches.Fully paid up member of S.A.B.L.E.

Don't burgers require a fat content of about 20% or they are dry?
The meatball option sounds a good one as the pork will add the fat.0 -

Treat it like Beef mince and do any number of dishes with itEverything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
Thanks - ended up doing burgers (I've a load of portioned chilli in the freezer already). Quite tasty and surprised by how much fat came off them.0
