They do a chilli one as well, but I thought it might be too hot for me. Since this one was so lightly flavoured I might give it a go though, I need to find different fruits and veg to make things more varied anyway.

Wow Buffy, you've done well! I'm starting to pick up now so I might make a start on the paperwork. Even if all I do tonight is gather the various piles together then it's a start. Before I do that though I'm going to take photos of how disgustingly messy the place is. I want to make a 'cautionary tale' photo album, with how bad things have got in the flat, and with my weight. Hopefully then at the end there'll be sparkly new me photos, and I can use it to keep motivated and on top of things.

I've got loads of stuff to ebay, but I just can't seem to get bothered! My books I'm taking to a car boot, but there's all the craft stuff. I've told my sister that if she sells it for me on ebay she can have 10% of the profit, and she seemed keen, but doesn't seem to have the time. It's mainly the photos that are putting me off.

Ames, its the photos put me off too....

Are you still chucking OH out Ames.......I have to admit one of my saving graces over the last 12 months has been getting a cleaner..I know not everyone can afford one, but having someone do the 'cleaning' has left me with more energy to do the sorting. I know that is what OH is supposed to be doing but what will happen when he goes. Can you get access to someone to do your cleaning for you. A long shot I know but it has been revolutionary for me...

Sorry for absence this afternoon...Boss turned up at work (literally as you phoned Maz, didn't been to be abrupt!)

If Maz is going on Monday early why don't you come down on Wednesday Sammy & Bookie as I don't work and can actually spend more than 5 mins seeing you. Or Tuesday and thursday I finish at 2 but could possibly finish at 1

Yup, he's going on monday. Not sure he realises I'm serious because he hasn't come up with a plan B in case his friend's wife doesn'st want him lodging with them.

I am planning to get a cleaner, once the place is sorted out. I just want to get it to the point that I can get someone in a couple of times a month to do the dusting, vaccuming, mop the bathroom floor and change the bedding. And it'll still be cheaper than having OH here! I'll be £100 a month better off, plus not paying for his food.

Someone is coming to help weekend after next, a lovely MSE guardian angel!

And social services are supposed to be assessing me, so hopefully I can get some help/aids and adaptations in place.

So everything's coming together, which is great.

There are some lovely MSE angels about Ames.....

What i would say is don't worry about sorting before you get a cleaner...just do it. My cleaners came in and did an all over house blitz for one day and I was almost panic struck trying to clean before they came...:rotfl:now I don't worry....
