Sorry for absence this afternoon...Boss turned up at work (literally as you phoned Maz, didn't been to be abrupt!)

If Maz is going on Monday early why don't you come down on Wednesday Sammy & Bookie as I don't work and can actually spend more than 5 mins seeing you. Or Tuesday and thursday I finish at 2 but could possibly finish at 1

I will have to think about what I am going to do Chloe is at the childminders tues, wed and thurs and I don't like to skip days cos the childminder doesn't charge me when she doesn't go...she is the only one that the chilminder minds now so I feel bad when I don't take her IYSWIM..

Really? Cos I keep being told by ex and sister that if I get a cleaner they'll walk back out again unless I've done a lot first. But at the moment I'm finding it quite therapeutic in a way, it's giving me things to do to take my mind off other things, and seeing the improvement is making me feel good.

Can I ask how you get yours, is it through an agency or did you put an ad in the paper? I thought that if I just employed someone I'd have to have liability insurance and stuff but my sister reckons I can just put an ad up and sort it out that way.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.
  • Ames, that is lovely, when I meet you in Leeds I thought you were so nice and friendly, glad you are chucking out ex and getting a cleaner! and pay no attention to sister and ex, I would think part of both them likes having you in your place and putting up with (especially the ex). Go with an agency, that way you will get someone has hopefully been checked?

I do like good news. xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.

That's what I thought, but sister thought I was mad paying extra for an agency. But I'd rather have the peace of mind that they're checked, and that if there's a problem there's someone I can complain to.

probably better to have someone checked Ames, or someone who comes with excellent references.

I couldn't have a cleaner, I'd feel embarrassed sitting around whilst they were working. I hate it when on holiday and they come in to clean, I feel really awkward.

I have visions of everyone being like Margot from the Good Life waiting for the cleaner whilst eating After Eight mints and arranging a fondue soiree!!
