Phew, I am jiggered....

Yesterday was manic......picked son up went to Ikea (very very busy) in and out for what I wanted:j home again. Took DD2 to strain station to visit nan for a week :j and then spent the next six hours putting a set of drawers together and helping DS strip skirting boards and put new floor down.....:j

Wow son has grown up some......he laid the floor, didn't get angry when it didn't go to plan and finished the floor, it looks the dogs........I am so so impressed with both him and the floor.

Didn't get home from taking him home till 11pm last night, but I am mainly on my own with Chloe this week so its studying for me today and then working/decorating the rest of the week....:T

Hope you lot all had good weekends......:D

    Morning

Sammy that sounds great - satisfying to get so much done, and the floor sounds great.

I feel I didn't achieve much at all this weekend - even though I did bits and pieces nothing seems to have made a difference!

I really must get my arris in gear and start doing things, trouble is I am tired after work, so I think I will leave it til the weekend and then don't feel like it then either....

    Motivation needed I think

    morning all.

not been well over the last 24 hours and had the most horrendous night. Ended up getting up and sleeping on the sofa at 4.30 because Ithought slightly sitting up might be more comfortable.

Mixture of flushed face, but shivers through my arms and body, every time I ate something, awful pain at the base of my ribs and I've had a headache over 1 eye for 24 hours now :( Fell asleep yesterday afternoon for 3 hours and was asleep again by 10.30. Had some lunch yesterday and it really hurt so haven't eaten until just now. Had a tiny amount of cereal, mostly because I wanted to take painkillers for my headache. Sat under a throw on the sofa last night and even water was hurting.

It feels like some kind of digestive flare up of some kind. I do seem to be prone to little episodes like this so I'm hoping it calms down today. I found some 5 year old Rennies bought in Portugal last night gathering dust so had some of them!

    Morning!

I got the filing cabinet finished last night, but dropped one of the drawers and now it's got a big dent. So at some vague point in the future I'll get some fablon, jazz it up a bit too. But found out that the files I got for it don't fit, I need A4 instead of Foolscap, so I'll have to go into town in a bit to find some.

Plan for today is to take it easier, gather together all the big piles of random paperwork and sort them out, I'm really tired after yesterday's exertions and I can do that in bed.

Oh BB that doesn't sound good at all.

Do you think it might be gall stones?

tenmah - when I am feeling like that I do the fifteen minute thing....I set the kitchen timer for 15 mins and do one job for fifteen mins (like tidy kitchen) - then chill for a bit...do that as and when and as often or as little as you like...it kind of eats into the jobs to be done.

BB - :grouphug: I hope you feel better soon.....

Ames - well done on the filing cabinet...take it easy today....

It's probably something gallstone/gallbladder related tenmah. Over the last 10 years I've had a few minor flare ups of this and also episodes of awful pain behind my right shoulder and in the groin. I know what I need to do - stop eating carp, lose weight, although the fear of eating because of pain is quite a good diet in itself!!!

It will be ok, just need to be careful and eat really light stuff today and see how I go.

I think OH was stunned that I didn't want any dinner - and I even turned down cake later on!!

I like the 15 minutes idea Sammy. It'd help me to pace myself as well. Now, I know I've got a kitchen timer somewhere, wonder how many fifteen minute bursts it'll take to find it!

    Morning All!

A bit grumpy today because no hot water for a shower (had one last night anyway ;)) but there was hot water in the taps = weird....

Then got spare keys cut = £15

Got to work no one had to key to get in door and do the alarm and feeling a bit chesty again today - hoping plenty of coffee will sort me out - think its just tiredness but my flatmate has had a stinknig cold so am trying to avoid her...

Also bought loo roll on Friday and we're on the last roll already - if she wants to blow her nose she should buy tissues rarrrrr

Ouch at the keys cutting! I need to get at least one set of mine done. Johnsons had a big sign saying they were doing keys for £1, but when I finally went to do it that was only yale keys. The market do normal keys for £2.50, so I'll go there when I get round to it. Probably after ex moves out, just to be safe.

Ex has loads of allergies, so we get the big packs of value loo roll. Since he's been back (a week) we've gone through as much as I did in the month he was away.
