meanmarie - you have solved my problem, I found some neck of lamb in the bottom of the freezer last week and had no idea what to do with it, your recipe sounds yummm. Does it work in a Slow Cooker???

Welcome to you randomer and Witchywoopiggy and any newbies I may have missed, :hello: nice to see you here.

tired mum - good news on the car

Hope you are all well and enjoying the rare flashes of sunshine we are getting lately

    Hello Again

Had a good day after all, got soaking wet on Clacton Pier but kids still had a good time. Treated myself to some Clacton on Sea Rock so reckon I will be treating myself to a filling soon :rotfl:was nice though & I dont think Ive eaten it since I was a kid.

Sun came out just in time to have a picnic. Eggs on toast done for dinner and will be having an early night.

Think all that filing has totally worn me out - Squiggly yes it was a year  I must admit I thought it was a few months but not that long. Never will I do that again it was horrible, Haribo & Patchworkcat - does anyone like it - if so they are mad. Mioliere I actually keep on top of the business accounts, it was my personal filing :rotfl:

Have only speed read the thread so hope I havnt missed too much (((hugs))) wherever needed.

Pippa.S....don't know about a slow cooker, have never used one, but see no reason why it wouldn't work...it was really nice, meat falling off the bone...if it were just for me would have liked more pepper, but have to cater to the masses! I have also done a curry type thing with the same type of lamb....curry powder in some yoghurt or cream as liquid, some peppers, coriander instead of rosemary, cook in same way, serve with rice....very nice.

Had visit from one of OH's cousins this evening, just before dinner was ready, offered him some but he wasn't staying long....he left 2 hours later so we have just had dinner now, far too late but I was hungry!

    Sleep well all,

    Marie

Much too late to be posting  I've been very caught-up in family matters the last few days, not slug watching as Aussie suggested :rotfl:However my veggies are doing rather well. Had dwarf beans, spinach and a whole two carrots tonight :D Topped up with some shop bought carrots ( oh how inferior were they ;):rotfl:) and frozen peas.

Doubt I'll have time to catch up with the missed days, so some of today's posts were rather mysterious to me. I expect it will all become clearer as the days go by.

Sorry for all the birthdays I've missed. Belated greetings to all

Hugs to any that want one. CM x
