Does anyone think the men singing at the Proms concert looka leetle bit orangina in colour? A bit heavy handed on the foundation there I think!

Valli - we went for a bottle of the house stuff and it was very very drinkable!! Can get about 6 glasses out of it so worked out cheaper 'cos there were 4 of us. The waitress was a little stressed as we arrived at 10.50pm and they close at 11 - still where there's champagne........!! (My job has a lot to answer for!)

I've done nothing.. not a twinkling thing... *sigh*

oh.. I did 2 lots in the DW, 1 in the TD and OH mopped the kitchen floor after spilling a dish of soggy weetos all over the floor.

I think I may be somewhat miserable today.. the black dog ran away in fear for its life after just one of my sighs...

I'm off to bed.. to think of a reason to be glad about today.....i think that may take a while...

Does it count as starting by watching hubby iron. Yes my husband is actually ironing first time in 7 years I have seen him do it. Admittedly i did need to show him how to put up the ironing board.

Yes delegating counts, in fact I think it should count even more for using your initiative
Are lapsed flyladies allowed back? (Hope so!)

Oh spooky was thinking about you the other day (I do when I need to go to Precious Soles) nice of you to pop in, how are the Ginger kids?

    Hi
I'm spending my evening with a tasty little italian
I do like a nice Pinot Grigio...

Oh I'm partial to Italians for their wine and Czech for their beer - true EU me:rotfl:

Finally managed to get 3 kids dry, warm, full and in bed.

CBA to do anything myself now, WM is on full of clothes that were once white before a monsoon on a cricket pitch.

Think I'll make a cuppa and head up to read quite soon.

Hi - it's great to be back! Ginger kids are fine thanks! DD1 is off to high school in September - but new school rules on footwear could prove problematic owing to very narrow feet and the requirement for lace ups! Precious Soles here we come for StartRight lace ups!!!

I've got to sort out the whole work/life/kids/housework balance thing. I am starting with Pigpen on Monday (at least level 1) so wish me luck. Now work with all men - who when I talked about Flylady thought I had gone mad!

Right - list finished, wine finished so time for a top up!

Hello my dear flylady friends, how are you all? Sorry I've not been about much this week, have been very busy sorting out emails and PM's and then was fighting with the BD at the end of the week. Am doing much better today - we went to see my parents and my sister today so that was lovely! They gave me some plants for my container garden too and are going to help us to get a new car so that will be great. We can start looking now which is wonderful. I won't be so trapped in the flat if I can get in the car and go places. Hopefully we should have one within the next couple of weeks.

Sorry I've not been able to catch up with the thread - I think there are about 20 pages that I haven't read so I will try to catch up but might not entirely be able to.

Today I have washed up and thrown a plastic bag at the bed so I can empty the bin next to my bed!

    Love and hugs to all

You know those bedrooms you see in magazines and 'house' programmes?

The ones where the bed has a fancy throw draped across the bottom of the bed and co-ordinated cushions piled up the top.

Does anyone in real life have a bed and a room like that???

After all you are in the bedroom - when you go to bed - while you are asleep - when you get up. And at that point you have to take all the 'stuff' off and store it.

No idea why it bothered me, but thought I would share the question - and no I haven't been drinking :p
