We done ours in late 2007 it's 3 meters long cupboards both sides. We went for white gloss door fronts and we were just under 4k but that included hob, oven extractor, under unit lighting and a 1.5 bowl sink with a pretty tap.

OOh, sounds ok, we don't need a cooker, just dw, and fridge/freezer.

    Was that fitted?

yes...I was innocently wondering why ladies would buy them...then slowly pennies started clunking...they weren't even top brands!
    feedback was funny though
    'my PA liked these'
    'my secretary liked these'

    (same buyer...)

    Grateful
I would bet that there are some good deals around at the moment for fitting kitchens because the market for new kitchens is apparently very closely connected to the house sales thing...try some of the independants.
When I had my kitchen done in my previous house I was MOST surprised when I went to a shop considered good but pricey as they offered the best deal and I was VERY pleased with it - (I miss my kitchen) I got free appliances.

How about buying everything you need in the sales and getting MOJT to fit it on her child-free weekends :D

Greenbee, does mojt do that, then?

Doesn't really need to be fitted, I suppose, you can get lush freestanding stuff, and it really is tiny, less than 2m one side and max 3m on the other.

    Hello everyone!

I'm just off for a nice warm bath after getting extremely soggy on my walk with greenbee. OH has just made me a cup of tea and we're waiting for the water to heat up a bit more to fill the bath so that it's deeper than a puddle. I had a really nice time on the walk, despite the misty rain, although I regretted the decision to do it in my trainers when I was driving home and suddenly remembered that I don't own any other casual shoes and don't know what I'm going to wear to my M&D's tonight as my trainers are sodden! The cream tea was nice at the end of it - I'm glad we made it to the tea room before it closed as it finished it all off nicely, and tea in a pub isn't the same.

Looking forward to having another walk soon. I don't actually feel too tired, although I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight. Greenbee says we've done quite a few steps too, as she wore her pedometer.

Off to get OH to finish running my bath. Catch up with you all soon. Hugs to all the poorlies, welcome to the shattered family and all of the newcomers to the thread, and I'm glad you got your shoes kaz - I was going to have a look out in Southampton next Friday for you.

    See you all later,

    sexymouse xx

ETA Have a lovely holiday Penny!
