Hope everyone's ok this morning. Thanks for the lovely welcome for my big girl. She had so much fun on the thread last night.
Pigpen whatever's up, I hope it b0ggers off quite quickly! sending ~~~~~~no SF and healthy vibes for you and the family ~~~~~~~
Triker sending ~~~~sensible blood test results~~~~~~~ to you.
We're sitting in bed at Mum's caravan, trying to have a couple of minutes peace before we have to be up and at it. We're in the LR on a blow up bed, so the children really want to be in here... we're so mean!
Thanks for everyone's comments on the DH / DD1 dog feeding debacle!
It was interesting canvassing views. I really wasn't sure about it, and I'm still not really, I guess DH could have fed the pooch, but I s'pose he thinks if he starts doing it, she'll start not bothering.
Ahh well. Another day more bickering about something. It's currently DS chargers/magazines/phone signals/and lemonade.... joy! :rotfl: :rotfl:
See you later :hello:

I just like to add to this feeding-the-dog-fiasco debate; I am normally up to feed the dog, however, it is the summer hols and I have been going to bed later than usual - so I was about half an hour or so late to feed him - although, I appreciate my dad had waiting that long until wake up, I felt it was kinda unfair that he shouted my name twice and then stormed up the stairs to knock on the door loudly  only to call my name AGAIN and tell me to feed the dog. As I am an early riser, my parents always encourage me to lie in more.
I felt it might be necessary to add my side, thanks...0 -
Thank you for my  I assume this is for having completed five days, not for all the beer I drank last night??!!tootifruities wrote: »Done to 1334

Well kids both off to their dad's shortly so I should be able to get LOTS done. Bathroom is desperate as I was in Blackpool (did I mention it?) on bathroom day and I did the shed yesterday as it was dry...
but a good thing really as the kitchen floor (in the utility area - actually converted coal place) where the boiler is is FILTHY due to the gas man.
Miss Shattered hope you don't mind my commenting on the Bobbi Brown incident but your mum's (affectionate) description of it painted such a picture - I could imagine your sister squirming and wriggling as you applied it...one of the nice things about having sisters is sharing the girly stuff. I'm a big sister to two, too!
ETA Thanks for the Toots info AnWsMum. Is it raining over there? It is over here - grr - I have sheets to dry! Shall I come and hold W's hand in case those big hunky firemen scare him?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

They're supposed to leave it clean... so I hope it wasn't one of ours!
Meant to get up early but failed... I NEED SUNSHINE!!!! Luckily I don't have any laundry, but I do need to go to the farmshop (unfortunately it's a get in the car and drive there job...) for fruit & veg, then clean out the wheelie bin so I can start putting all the stinky rubbish from the house in it, and then see how much of the rest of the house I can get done before I need to leave to meet sexymouse for our walk! Sorry you won't be joining us soappie - it's only rain you know, you won't melt
. Mind you, I'm hoping it won't be TOO torrential.
Suppose I should get on instead of hanging about here... See you later!0 -

:T
have a good morning everyone!!! :j0 -
Soappie, thank you for my star, but you seem to have missed one - I've done the living room and the kitchen this week so far. Sorry you won't be coming today - we'll have to arrange another walk when the weather is a bit better.
I've amended the stars. And I know I won't melt in the rain but we have what I call welsh rain here - fine but exceedingly wet. And looking at the satellite image below snatched of the Met Office website, see all that white cloud I've circled in red? That's heading our way.
Also, when it's wet like this, the A31/M27 in the summer hols is even more of a mare than usual as all the idiots come out and vie with the caravan club to cause as many problems as they can. So those are my two reasons for giving it a miss today.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
