  • Hi all...

Pigpen, (((hugs))) to you, hope whatever's going on resolves itself hun. I'm in B'ham... my cold is foul, but not SF, I don't have a temperature - even though I've felt hot. I had an upset stomach, cotton wool head, snot and sneezes - ( I got through so much whole loo roll ) and have a hacking chesty cough now. On the upside if they've got the same bug, it's 3-4 days duration, and no quarantine! :D

Right my indulgent friends.... DD2 is feeling left out  She'll be here in a mo! TIA for your patience! :o

    you feeling any better today?

    Oh sweetie. xxxx

Nope don't feel better today hun, don't think I'll feel better for a very long time...trying to work out what I can do re work, family, functioning etc.

Ache all over especially elbows , feel weak, pathetic, terrified and bewildered. Can't manage too much of anything, really, just want to do a bit of cooking but even that is an enormous task.

I can't explain what has happened to my body, it feels like someone has taken mine away and given me an old, worn out, aching, heavy, useless replacement.

Post viral fatigue comes under the umbrella of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and M.E. no cure, no real understanding of what causes it.. Its a sudden, violent condition that shows no mercy.....and no clear end in sight.

Wanna hear a joke, all my le creuset bargains.....I can't even lift them, funny eh.:o

    Hi all

back from shopping trip with DS and DD.

Just decluttered a latte and some chocolate for lunch :o while catching up.

Miss Shattered quite right that we should hear your side of the story, hope its sorted now.

AnW's mum - thanks for update on toots. Will see if we have any ooks to go.

Dont want to lecture but to anyone driving the morning after, please be careful - it takes 1 hour to get one unit of alcohol out of your system from the time you STOP drinking. Might be worth calculating your units, the average woman will be over the limit with 4 - 5 units. Sorry.

    Shopping was fairly successful.

Managed to get DS 2 pairs of trousers. The ones I got first (same as OH's) that were too big and I was going to alter have been bought and returned already as managed to get a similar pair although more expensive in the right size so at least that saves me having to find time to alter them.

Got the sandals - thank you to everyone for looking for me and pigpen for texting me, last timeI went in they only had something like sizes 8 and 3 but today they had loads. I bought them but not sure if I like them now as the bit on the front doesnt seem to sit flat on my foot, so I'll wait until the alternative pair come hopefully this week then decide which to keep . I seem to have taken more stuff back in the last month than I have in the last 5 years.

Dd has a new cardi to go with her dress just incase it gets chilly in the evening.

    DS has new shoes.

I have suit and dress covers, new jeans although I havent tried them on and new tracky bottoms (I am such a slob when I get in from work)

Right going to put the shopping away then do something.

Dare I make a start on Littlemeisters room as I havent done anyhting from Fridays list yet
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

Good advice kazm - a friend of mine had been out drinking one night and sensibly left his car in the car park and caught a taxi home. When he went back to pick it up the next morning, he was stopped by the police and banned for one year for being over the limit. Scary stuff!

I'm thinking I need to do something (like find my list!!) so
    HHC 1:30 - 2:00 anyone?
