    Afternoon all

Been to town and the bank
wash No 2 on the line

OH out having his turn at cricket with the boys.

I need a cuppa and then can't decided whether to garden, clean the boys rooms or prepare my ebay listings.

Pigpen - sorry to hear you're not well hun, I know it would have taken a lot to get you to that appointment, I'm proud of you for going. Does the housing situation mean that you'll have 3 more mouths to feed?

DS1 would be jealous he is obsessed by weather and would love to make a career out of it combining sport so sport weather forcasting.

I've decided to have a cuppa and do my ebay photos first

Miss shattered - I think my spotty dotty dog would like to come and live with you. This week she's been fed late on three mornings because we all slept in. She thinks you just feeding later one morning sounds poor bliss - hugs to you xx

Chunky - it's good to know it's not just my mum though I wish you weren't going through it too. At the moment it's just about managable with my mum but as my dad's sight deteriorates she'll get worse. I'm going to do what I can but at the end of the day she's an adult and i'm going to try hard not to stress over it. I can see it all coming to nothing to be honest. Thanks again.

I've tidied DH's study and s/s the clinic. I can't work because a lot of my clients have cancer and I don't want to risk infecting them if i'm carrying SF. I'm missing working!

    Hugs to everyone xx

    New Weekly Challenge

    [STRIKE] Wednesday * List/fling another 5 items
Thursday * List/fling another 5 items[/STRIKE] 2 more hearts please when you get a moment?????

    Friday * List/fling the last 5 items

We WILL declutter and fund the holiday

Right bedroom done in HHC after I washed and changed the bedding yesterday.

Flung out loads of recycling and taken 2 ebay parcels to be posted

getting rid of 2 cardboard boxes and 2 items and a load of bubblewrap = 5 items flung from the house :D

3 bins emptied, listed another ebay item, many envelopes and paper into recycling = 5 items flung/listed :D

Off to finish the spare room then its the kitchen and pets tomorrow

A surprise cheque from the Inland Revenue for a mistake Mr Employer made on overpayment of NI was a surprise and is going straight to pay my horrible store card off.

I can't quite believe I am going to do this, normally my head would be so far buried in the sand I would rush to spend it on some things I don't need. Part of my rehabilitation in needing less, spending less and paying it all back.

Now I really need to get rid of this card first, smallest debt, highest APR%, when its gone its gone and I get to close the account with the greatest of pleasure and biggest smile on my face :D and one less thing on my credit rating.

Then on to tackle the big debts.......

Good advice kazm - a friend of mine had been out drinking one night and sensibly left his car in the car park and caught a taxi home. When he went back to pick it up the next morning, he was stopped by the police and banned for one year for being over the limit. Scary stuff!

Strangely enough the exact same thing happened to 1 of my [STRIKE]many[/STRIKE] exhubs. Almost seems unfair really, but if you're over the limit, you're over the limit, now matter how you feel !!

Got your pm FRODD.. might take me a few months but we will arrange something sometime, for sure. I wonder how greenbee & co are getting along in this weather!!

With regard to my own personal challenges this week. (some of you may recall/know that I have given myself 7 days to clear the back log of washing/drying/ironing, and am feeding the family from the cupboards/freezer) I have done 1 & half hours ironing today. I had to, OH complained that he had "nothing to wear" and actually he was right... he had nothing! oops!

worked out I have enough for at least 12 dinners in stock, and since OH has decided he wont be home for dinner today, that gives me an extra days grace!

Seem to be averaging around 300 kw electric today (as part of my "reduce the electricity bill" challenge) which is a huge improvement from 800kw when I first got the energy monitor. Even DS1 keeps turning the lights off (Hooray!!)

hugs for triker & pigpen and all others in need of them

Miserable weather today, DD is over a friends house and DS1 & DS2 are sitting beautifully with new colouring in books.DS3 is napping. Its so peaceful, it almost feels like a normal house!!:rotfl:

Am going to do a HHC to get ironing put away and WM & TD on (that'll make the energy monitor wobble :rotfl:) and anything else I can do in HH !!
Anyone fancy joing me, if there's anyone out there? Hello hello hello ...
:rotfl:If you have made someone laugh today... check your skirt isn't tucked into your knickers!!!:rotfl:
