    Morning all

Why didn't I remember that even one glass of any alcohol (in this case a small wine) always gives me disturbed sleep:confused:

Valli - we have saved you a chair at our table and a glass is waiting for you, is it a G and T or a glass of el vino?

Valli was ousted by DS who slipped in to occupy PC while I got on with a few jobs (like stripping the beds and remaking them...)

Morning All  Pinch Punch First Of The Month!!! :)

Hope everyone's ok this morning. Thanks for the lovely welcome for my big girl. She had so much fun on the thread last night. :D

    Pigpen
whatever's up, I hope it b0ggers off quite quickly! sending ~~~~~~no SF and healthy vibes for you and the family ~~~~~~~
Triker sending ~~~~sensible blood test results~~~~~~~ to you.

We're sitting in bed at Mum's caravan, trying to have a couple of minutes peace before we have to be up and at it. We're in the LR on a blow up bed, so the children really want to be in here... we're so mean!

Thanks for everyone's comments on the DH / DD1 dog feeding debacle! :D It was interesting canvassing views. I really wasn't sure about it, and I'm still not really, I guess DH could have fed the pooch, but I s'pose he thinks if he starts doing it, she'll start not bothering. Ahh well. Another day more bickering about something. It's currently DS chargers/magazines/phone signals/and lemonade.... joy! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    See you later :hello:

    morning everyone

Lots of rain here today. I'm glad I emptied the washing basket yesterday...

Kassey - have a lovely holiday

Merlin1 - welcome - I'll pop a christmas tree here so Pigpen knows to add you to the list :xmastree:

Greenbee - top news about the interview next Friday

Dusty - thanks for thinking of us. DD has just about recovered. She came round yesterday and took the dog for a gentle stroll. DS though son is still poorly, sore throat, bad head and a bit of a fever but he's coping. I'm fine.

    Welcome Miss Shattered :hello:

Pigpen - hope things go well today

:hello:SarahS and anyone else who is about.
Well I'm up bright and early for a Saturday - have just decluttered my purse of the receipts from last month, and totted them all up for the grocery challenge thread. Didn't do too badly, considering I bought loads of food for my birthday BBQ - had budgeted extra to take it to £120, and spent £133.46, so not too far over. :D Will have to try and do better this month though. On a plus side, as I wasn't doing much supply, I only spent £21.46 on petrol this month. :T Did the meal plans for the week yesterday and after my shower I'll be off to do the food shop.

Looking forward to the walk this afternoon. For anyone who is interested in coming, we're meeting at 2pm in Chawton (Hampshire). Hope my walking boots don't give me blisters this time - will try a double layer of socks - maybe that'll help - I would wear my trainers, but as I'm not sure what sort of terrain we'll be walking over, I don't know if it will be too muddy with all the rain we've had recently.

Forgot to say (I think) that my car passed it's MOT which was good, as I didn't have any expensive repairs this year either - just a bill for £170 for the MOT and service.

Right, I'd better stop nattering, and get on with things before the shops get packed.

Catch up with you all later if I have any energy after the walk - off to dinner at my M&D's tonight, so may not have time to pop online.

I was half tempted to join you until I saw the weather forecast - I think I'll give this one a miss - do have fun.

    Morning all!

Tons to do today - must get off my backside and go to PO to post ebay parcels.

Pigpen - fingers crossed it isn't SF. My friend's daughter was thought to have SF and it turned out to be a cough and cold in the end albeit a bad one.

See you all later and time to get off here!

Oh well, a little bit of rain never hurt anyone. Soappie, thank you for my star, but you seem to have missed one - I've done the living room and the kitchen this week so far. Sorry you won't be coming today - we'll have to arrange another walk when the weather is a bit better.

BTW I had a text from toots last night to say that although she's still a bit sore, she is definitely planning to escape from the hospital on Monday, so fingers crossed, she'll be back soon.

    Good Morning all :hello:

Its the wedding in a few hours so i need to get of my as* and get a few bits done and then get in the bath ready for my friend as she is coming to do my hair! I cleaned up last night and finished the ironing, isn't it amazig how when you have something planned it kicks you into touch:rotfl:

Pigpen hope everyone is better this morning, some fast healing, no SF vibes coming your way ~~~~~

Mudders I have only just seen your post about your mum, i am not sure how i missed it. i can totally sympathise with you. When i mentioned about my MIL i was not exaggerating. MY BIL asked me to go up once when she was on holiday to clear it up, i spent 7 hours for 3 days no tea break and i still hadn't completely finished. BIL and OH threw lots away and she went outside and retireved it all out of the bin bags. Broken dried flowers, a broken toaster, some nets that had holes in them the list is endless. We have spent 5 years trying to get through to her. BIL has spent thousands doing the house up in the vein hope she may want to tidy it up. The only tidy room is the bathroom as its brand new and has no room for the crap she had in it! In all honesty i don't know what to suggest as we have doen the storage box idea, anyone would think i had asked her to take a cyanide tablet.

Triker Hope you get good results hun x

Take care everyone i am going to get sorted out as usual i will end up rushing around x
