Spent today with my parents, had a big home cooked Sunday roast and a nice buffet tea.
Was nice just having all the family around me for the day0 -
Also spent time with my parents eating roast turkey. Mmmm.
They also said they had some spare meat so I ransacked the joint and brought home enough to make turkey and stuffing sandwiches to take to work tomorrow and also make a turkey curry! I don't feel guilty as they would just throw it out... Plus, I did leave them plenty just in case.
Way hey for money saving!

Well I know we are on Monday now but never got a chance to post on this wonderful new thread yesterday!
First of all, my compliments to LookingAhead for coming up with it :T
Now, let me see, yesterday!
I cooked a lovely roast - gammon with all the trimmings - for us and family. Gammon was in the freezer since Christmas and all the veg came out of the weekly shop. Prior to DFW I would have gone and bought ready prepared veg from M&S  Pudding was a lovely apple crumble from Tesco. I bought it on Saturday and it was reduced to 42p :T
We spent the afternoon playing cards and CDs, great fun. When the family went home, OH and me did the clearing up/washing up together and then watched DVDs from our existing collection.
Forgot to mention I did a bit of this :EasterBun as well
OH bought my egg while it was on special offer at Thorntons and it would have been a pity to let it go off
So, all in all, a no spend, very enjoyable, very DFW day for us! :jLeason learnt :beer:0 -
Today, i have done the housework, taken the kids and dog for a long walk and then came home and made loads of sandwiches for them all! My one DFW thing is that ive decided to give up smoking! Will save me a fortune!Love is all around! :rotfl:
