Hi, never joined in one of these threads before, BUT we have had a lovely day spending NO money. Breakfast just the usual porride (2 bags £1 from Farm foods) Lasts us weeks. Freshly squeezed oj 15 oranges for 50p Tescos on Thursday!!!

Then up the Formby NT reserve to see the red squirrels, walk on the beach and through the pine woods, taking own drinks and some of the easter eggs to keep us going. Home for lunch of bacon, egg and beans all bogofs from Morrisons last week.

Quiet afternoon, kids charging around garden me potting up beef tomato plant seedlings, planting sweetcorn and cherry tomatos, Whilst washing dried nicely on the line.

Kids now in the bath using free bubble bath from the freebies site from ages ago. What a great day.

 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

in the red - i totally agree! i use to post everyday on the os board but as i spend most of my day on DFW i kinda slipped...its lovely to be able to get a bit more insight into peoples days other than just what they have spent!!!

Glad everyone is getting into the spirit of this thread. It is great JD to get to know a bit more about each other, our lives and routines! It was Lookingaheads idea yesterday and Ali-OK and I thought it would be great to turn it into a daily regular like they do on the OS board.

So if anyone else gets up early in the morning and wants to start it please feel free to do so ..... left to me it may be late morning during the holidays!!

I've had a good day and am just enjoying my Easter Egg from the kids .... have to eat it all as starting the 'Fat-Free Wanabee club' tomorrow - 21lbs to lose!

Managed a no spend day, had a lovely lunch at my Mum's, washing dried beautifully on the line and now watching a DVD with the kids that I borrowed from my brother.

Your day sounded lovely Dr Lou .... I must get out this week with the kids if the weather is good, fresh air and exercise ... FREE!

    Lewby xx

Hmm-now let's think back to our day
Started off with my daily Paid to Clicks-well chuffed with the 100 points from Pigsback
Did Easter egg hunt for DD in front room with pack of 5 eggs for £1.47 from Aldi
Showered with free shower gel from Lush when they did their free gift with over £30 spend promotion after xmas
Managed 30 mins pedelling on my(free) exercise bike
Made curry for tea with bits left over in fridge
Spent nothing at all,not even to entertain DD-she was busy eating choc & playing with her new Bratz doll-she did play in the garden for a bit to get some fresh air tho
Made Easter cookies from 99p choc chip cookie mix decorated with smarties from one of DDs eggs
Watched XXX from screen select free trial-hope i get my £20 voucher as DD wants Narnia for her b'day next month
Found 1p when out collecting Avon orders

Uhh Sunday, Sunday. I always find Sunday evening depressing for some reason. Can't figure out why as I love waking up on a Monday and looking forward to opening whoopass on stuff, but I'm sitting here having a total DFW day by doing sod all. Sitting in my bedroom in a dark empty house on a laptop with my entire MSN contact list empty is just, err, wrong. What is everyone else doing? Probably something I'm not which is why I'm so bored.

I've got a ton of ironing to do but can't be arsed in all honesty. Makes me kind of wish I drank lol, that'd pass the time :-\ I've watched all the Star Gate DVD's to boredom and now and I've not got any letters of complaint to write. Uh, so, so very bored.

    Meh

I didn't do a massive amount today but here goes:

    1. Went for a long walk to get some free exercise and fed the ducks with some old left over/scrappy bit of bread so they weren't wasted. Ducks crack me up :rotfl:
    2. Spent no money today!
    3. Signed up with orange.co.uk so I can take advantage of 30 free texts a month online (see the freebies board if you are an orange customer and interested!)
    4. Earned some more points on pigback.com
    5. Did some washing and put out on line (not tumble dryer) and also killed some time by washing down woodwork/vacuuming and the kitchen floor.

msn_ooooh.png World Naked Cycle Ride sounds wrong, especially around Hyde Park lol. Seconds on the cheese rolling lol. I'd like to go to the summer solstice. This is a well cool link, thanks LookingAhead.

I've been doing random things to pass the time. I just shined some shoes and replaced the laces. Woo yay.

Sunday night just isn't as much fun as Saturday night :(
