just relayed my lawn with OH ( whos fragile it has to be said:) ) with some wilkos 1.50 lawnseed and 75p compost. Certainly more DFW than the 675+vat I was quoted by a local firm
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I'll say Lynnzpower!
I noticed yesterday that all our outside woodwork REALLY needs rubbing down and repainting...including the eaves and the bit above the porch etc. At some point in the near future I will be being very DFW stylee with that! Lord knows how I will cope with doing it though since I detest spiders...and you can guarantee there are going to be thousands of them when we tackle that sort of job. Urgh.Bank Balance: In the black for the moment.
Sainsburys Loan: Cleared July 2010
Credit cards: AMEX Airmiles Card: direct debit set to clear balance monthly

Get a bit of old net curtain and a massive bit of elastic and fashion yourself some sort of "beekeeper" headwear and a pair of wilkos building gloves, you'll be fine! Or you could get your hosepipe ( yes I know theres a ban on... ) and blast your sills with water first, could help..
Save yourself a fortune! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Have had one egg so far, but being a good girl and trying hard not to eat it (yet).

I just cleaned my kitchen windows with white vinegar, smells like a chippie but easier than any other window cleaner I have used.
Cancelled my Sunday paper last week so not spent any money at all.
If the weather was more settled we might go out but as it's showery we will just stay in and potter about.0 -
Well, took the kids for a walk to wear them out as they were 'desperate to go out',
been to mums for dinner
and came home with leftovers so no money spent on food for 2 meals.
Breakfast was free teabags that arrived last week.
cleaned the windows with vinegar and newspaper,
left the backdoor open to get rid of cat smells
(so didn't use the air freshener, am trying to cut down cos of the kids)
Hung the washing out after putting it thru on a quick wash cycle...
unplugged the tumble dryer and will be making sure that anything that doesn't need ironing goes away when it comes in or it will need ironing.
Did a clothes swap with my mum she wears the same sort of clothes as me but she is losing weight so we swapped some clothes, saves going out and buying new ones , which also saves on petrol ( have you seen the prices!!!!!!!)
Swapped some films with my brother...
omg i have been busy todayProud to be me, proud to be who I am!!0 -
So far have spent nothing!
Got one Easter egg so far, from my flat mates Nan would you believe!!
Have done the hoovering, new rabbit makes such a mess when she has her mad five minutes. One load of washing is one, and one more to go! And that is it till I've got another full FULL load. Fed up of sticking it on for 6 items.
Have emptied out all our bins.Put together all the bits I've borrowed from Mum for her to pick up soon as, managed to borrow a steam cleaner and did all the carpets. My floor now feels very springy!
OH is currently driving down, was meant to be here 2 hours ago (hmmmmm). No plans as yet for the rest of my day. Got some chicken out of freezer for dinner. BOGOF breasts from Tesco. Must have a jar of something in the cupboard!
And thats it from me!
Happy Easter Everyone xxWealth is not measured by currency0 -
