Tried to call their freephone 24 hrs 7 day a week number today on 5 seperate occasions but just noone responded.

What a useless company! Enquired and gave full details of my property. Including the full width conservatory. No problem they said. Scaffolding, if necessary, included. Got a date. Surveyor (?) sent text day before. Then turned up half hour early. Thought the property had already been insulated. Told him not in the last 20 years. Drilled hole. No insulation. Conservatory? "Your problem, mate".
Totally useless, incompetent bunch of fraudsters.

Had a cold call from "The energy care centre, Bristol" 10 minutes ago.
When I said "Not interested, thanks" the caller responded with "f**k off then" and disconnected.
I wouldn't touch this outfit with a 10-foot pole!!!

I get constant calls from Energy Care UK, who, when I complain say that I had made a request for more details. I did not and despite telling them this the calls still keep coming!

I was cold called by the energy saving group, despite being on the TPS.. I stopped them mid flow by saying I was googling them.. She called her manager. I said I wouldn't be of any interest to them because I was over 70 and unable to get credit. He then advised me I could cash in my ISA's!
It was getting ridiculous then, so I terminated the call.

Have just received a letter from this firm offering FREE Cavity Wall & Loft Insulation. Well, yes, maybe the insulation is free but what about the labour costs for installing it? I smelled a rat so looked for their terms and conditions. The leaflet said they are on their website, but I have looked and they are not there. I wouldn't touch this firm with a bargepole.

Just had a flyer through from this company, and it looks very much like the kind of scheme we fell for about sixteen years ago.
They give an example of the fitted price for a Worcester Bosch 12i boiler (about £750) as £2283, but using their finance scheme over 10 years @£6.81 per week would cost around £3400!!!
Oh, I forgot to mention that we are getting cold called by them, despite being registered on TPS.

What a useless company. I phoned the company about 3-4 weeks ago and made an appointment so that someone from the company come to our house and give us a quote for boiler replacement and fitting. We booked in an appointment for 17th October 2014 (between 8-12). I phoned them at around 9 am on 17th October and I was told 'yes, we have your details and address and someone will come this morning'. I waited and waited but no one turned up. I phoned the company again at 13:15 and the lady who I spoke to said she would speak to the home office and asked me to wait on the phone while she was trying to speak to them. The lady then said 'I have just spoke to the head office and one of the engineers will ring you in few minutes' and she did not apologise at all. The lady did double check my phone number. Guess what? No one phoned back. What a waste of time. That was my day off but unfortunately the company wasted my whole day which I could have used for something else or could have asked another company to come and give me a quote.

Don't touch this company with a barge pole. I was told by Somebody recently they had been told to have external cavity wall insulation-from them, this was done and yet it was then evident that it shouldn't have been installed where internal cavity wall insulation had already been used -which was the case. The people were clearly ripped off, the contractors said it would take three weeks to complete, took seven and in fact they had only turned up odd mornings-around 9 -till 1-usually one a week and then went elsewhere- were told by the contractors they had got to have several jobs on the go to keep money rolling in. The standard of the work was appalling, blocks were not cut level over windows etc, they applied rendering in the rain, spent most of the time smoking and talking, they never swept up-mess was disgusting. Not qualified tradesmen-so stick to builders who know how to render etc-and don't be ripped off by this company-should never be allowed to trade, don't respond to emails either-just happy when taking money off people. Don't use unless you want an appalling level of workmanship and a two week job taking two months.

At some point in October 2014 I received a piece of 'point of sale' through the door from Energy Care Group (to save any confusion based in Bedfordshire) - offering free cavity wall insulation. It is something we had considered and I contacted them and made an appointment for their surveyor to visit on Wednesday 20th November. After the survey an appointment was made for them to carry out the work on Thursday 28th November. I decided to seek out any reviews and was very dismayed at the reviews on this site. At 8am sharp 'Mike and Martin' arrived to carry out the work - I did speak of my concerns and they re-assured me that their work would be carried out to a high standard and that their work was guaranteed.
I have to say - you speak as you find and we were very happy with their professional attitude to the job in hand and the end result including leaving the premises in a very clean and tidy condition. In my experience I would have no hesitation in recommending them (and their company). Maybe it is that we are all quick to complain (usually justifiably so) but rarely take the trouble to give credit where credit is due.
