Hormones or not - I'd be naffed off at your OH....
I agree.
I 'd be bloody furious. missing the party, missing the dvd night, all over some rain and some grass mostly caused by his idiot brother.
A big huff on your behalf SRM. Frankly I think you are brilliant with all you handle. OH should be home. so there.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
It could well be hormonal, I feel like sh*t every month, and really take it out on my OH. But at the time, I think I'm perfectly right. It's afterwards that I realise I was acting irationally :rotfl:0

I almost did  I had the whole of my bedroom furniture (2 wardrobes, 2 sets of drawers, 2 bedside tables) for 14 months all flat packed and stored in the spare bedroom before OH got around to doing it. The bedroom had been stripped of wallpaper for over 2 years because he said if I stripped it he would decorate it. So I stripped it the same weekend.......turned out he 'hadn't said when he would decorate it'.
And as for the packs of laminate I have had stored in the hall for the last 4 and a half years to be put down in the hall..........."Stay Wonky":D

remember the other day we were talking about IKEA and I said I'd never been to one, but I wouldn't go because there was nothing I needed and I knew I'd end up buying something?
I was just reading a thread about readiness for winter (I know, I know!) and someone said that pinning IKEA fleeces to the backs of curtains made perfect thermal linings as they are light enough not to pull the curtains down.
I thought - perfect - my curtains are really thin, I'll look on ebay. I found loads on ebay but the postage made me think.....hmm.....now if I actually went to IKEA itself..........:eek::eek:
Good job they don't do mail order. The new Southampton one will be (I would guess) only accessible by car and I ain't driving there!!!!! Edit: I can get the train and walk.........it's cheaper to buy a couple off ebay as the train is £12 ! Mad as it sounds, I might buy some on ebay from next months quidco money, i'm due to get around £15, this will get me 4 I reckon - 2 for the main bedroom, 2 for the living room."Stay Wonky":D

BB - The cheapie ikea fleeces are great but primark and asda do them too at the same sort of price, would either of those be easier to get to? The asda ones could probably be ordered from their online site too."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

Sammy, skirting boards aren't that hard to do, you just need one of those.....*flu-induced blank brain moment*....blocks that guides the saw to make a 45 degree angle, a big tub of polyfilla, and a bit of patience.
I've done them quite often, and I'm a bit crap at getting the angles perfect, but I can make them LOOK damn near perfect with a bit of polyfilling and sanding."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
