It's a grain, a bit like couscous in taste.
    Great for salads!

I hate couscous, bleugh. I think it's the texture I don't like, after all it doesn't taste of much.

BB - The cheapie ikea fleeces are great but primark and asda do them too at the same sort of price, would either of those be easier to get to? The asda ones could probably be ordered from their online site too.

they certainly would - never thought of Primarni. We have one in town but I never go into town and I've only ventured into there once......shudder...it was like WW3, horrible place, clothes everywhere. We have a big Asda also, again, i've only been in once, but I could go and see if they have some - and Ithink they are only a couple of quid.

My house stays nice and cool in the summer but is a bar steward to get warm in the winter so this could be a really good plan.

Just caught up......what I'll do Ames is try Asda tomorrow - I need to get some stuff for some food I have to cook for an open day at work next week, I'll see if they have some and shout either way? Thankyou for the offer :D I could well be taking you up on it if Asda don't have any at the moment :D

Pooky - funky tagine or what?! Nice kitchen also!

I need to think about what to do for this open day. Enough for 2 hours, but I don't think there will be many visitors, it hasn't been advertised much and last time it was 90% eaten by the staff!!

I am thinking of doing a couple of jugs of Mango Lassi, (Indian course) some Panettone (Italian) and some Grilled Vegetable cous cous (Middle Eastern). It's supposed to be a day promoting all the courses, but all the cookery ones are full!!

I could go posher but I need to buy the ingredients first and then claim it all back and I need stuff I can make quickly on Tuesday night.

Evening...Where are you all, out on the pish??

Blimey ive had a busy day and I am shattered. Went for a short run this morning, took DD to her swimming lesson, home, then to tesco to do the shopping, home for lunch, to the allotment to pick up stuff to go to the tip, drove to tip, went to town to buy birthday present for party DD is going tomorrow, back to allotment for an hour and a half, home, tea back to the allotment and have just got in. If I don't loose some pounds this week I will be seriously peed off!

Been a lovely sunny day here today, hope its like this next Saturday afternoon/evening

Oh and I finally defrosted my freezer today so I can start putting some of the stuff from the allotment away for winter :)

The run was hard Becky...but thats to be expected as I haven't been for nearly 2 weeks and before that just here and there. Hoping to now get back into a routine of going 3-4 times a week just 4-6 mile each day for the next couple of week, actually probably over the summer hols (as I won't have much child free time) so that I don't feel its a chore and taking too much of my time up. I am going to think about a half marathon or 10k around November so that it gives me something to work towards :)
