this is why i rarely voice my opinion on here, people pure JUMP down your throat

claire i'm not jumping down your throat but my one pet hate on here is people (not so much you) arguing when they don't have a clue. I mean, there is no law or act that allows 6yrs sharing of data.

As such it is wrong. Anyone that disputes it needs to provide a law of proof but this is impossible as the CRA's, DCA's and OC's are BREAKING THE LAW but no1 has the balls to pursue it, that is what the problem is.

The general public think it is ok, yea until someone actually does something about it which is now happening and notice all the credit formum management !!!!!! themselves cos they know they will lose, lose lose!

i just think that 6 years is long enough to teach you a lesson, and hopefully scare you in to being more careful in the future!!

nothing to do with laws etc, just merely my opinion on the matter :)
    THANK MEEE:j

Fair point, strange to see an ex con though siding with the enemy....

I doubt scaring has much to do with it now, people know they can come to a forum like this, speak to us lot and we'll usually help them get baddies removed so no real incentive to stay 'dry' if you like :D:D

How on earth does the inability to get 'cheap' credit relate to a custodial sentence?

And credit risk has nothing to do with laws. (In the sense you're trying to compare them to anyway.)
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

Paul I think he was using it an an example and it is a fair point, I mean you can be done for manslaughter and be 'free' quicker than you can if you went £1 overlimit and forgot about it (to find out a year later you got a 'default').

That part of the UK Justice system stinks, basically the CRA's should be told (not decide) how long 'necessary' is when in relation to the 'necessary data storage' of our personal information and i'd be fighting for just 12 months which is ample time and does indeed show a true reflection of ones ability to handle credit.

What I done 6yrs ago and what I done now are two totally different things, not to mention the fact I now pay over £1000 per month into my mortgage! 6yrs is just ridiculous and should be outlawed, not just argued but actually outlawed!

That is the point I think we are both trying to make.
