I went to see Sherlock Holmes with a friend on Boxing day - was the first time I have been to the pictures for literally years! I can recommend that film too!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. Glad you enjoyed avatar - I would definitely make the time for a book - surely they can't expect full on attention for days! They wouldn't be getting it from me that is for sure.

Morning
SH, no not demanding in anyway, they all live in London and love coming down here to get out and about. I really can't walk one more beach ! I loathe being out in this sort of weather. Avatar came as a welcome relief !
But tonight the house is mine ! I have plans for a bath, an early night and hopefully my book. The boys have plans for an XBox fest because a couple of games they got have content they deem unsuitable for a couple of visiting Aunties ! Makes me giggle - teenagers censoring their Auntie's viewing !
Christmas leftovers consist of a half eaten chicken liver parfait (bleugh!) 4 mince pies and some blinis. Pleased I didn't go OTT. But fridge looks decidley empty.
Not going to attempt to put this house in order until tomorrow. Is Time Out this afternoon.
Now what's happening where you all are....off for a nosey !DC.

I'm glad you have finally got the house back to yourself and can factor in some much needed "me time". Housework can certainly wait 24 hours......or a bit longer!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. And breathe.....they've all gone ! I love them dearly, and all been so kind and thoughtful but I really can't cope with a week of it. Expected too much of myself and that definetly started to show in the run up to Christmas.
So a whisk round Mr T's resulted in a nicely reduced basket of food in until Monday. Don't want to have to 'do anything' or 'be anywhere'. Just me and my sons. Aaaaaaaah......
Have purchased myself a shiny new - bargain - notepad to commence serious menu planning for January. New diary too - to get some sort of daily organisation instilled in us.
Things about to start looking up.DC.
