aw DC, now I have caught up...and understand the butterfly comments!
I cant even imagine your loss and the pain that it has caused, however I really agree with everyone else that having male friendship and even love after a loss is more of an adjustment than a betrayal, who knows, you amy even be one of the lucky ones who meets two soul mates!
keep it up with the smoking too, I have a feeling you will do just fine! xxPay £15k by Xmas10 £1478.19/£15000[STRIKE]24/07/09[/STRIKE] present - loan - £8550 overdraft#1 - [STRIKE]£2516.87[/STRIKE] £0 credit card - [STRIKE]£1210 [/STRIKE] £0TOTAL - [STRIKE]£12276.87[/STRIKE] £9133.63:T0 -

Hello people
Not been around much, not really been up to it. Been stumbling through December with little success. Some sadness, illness and generally feeling down has got to me.
I love Christmas and although I welcomed the idea of everyone coming to us I really have felt the pressure this last week. Only just started wrapping presents and still a mountain of 'stuff' to do.
Financially I'm totally skint. And although all CC's and loans are paid, phone bill just arrived in Inbox. Well it will have to wait. I just went £9.87 over my overdraft limit overnight, have rectified it but am worried I'll get a big fat charge. Again bad budgeting skiils.
This is the first Christmas I've 'done' at home without DH, and I really have to pick myself up. My children are so tuned into me that I'm bringing them down. That's not fair.
So all my hopes for a dashing daring december pretty much dissolved. Once I've finished work (part of the feeling low problem) today I know I'll feel better and hopefully that will kick start me.
I really don't function in the cold, and am a real misery on those sparkling blue sunny days when it's freezing cold. Hate it !
Rather it was raining than that cold.
I'm the only one that can change this. So thanks for reading, baby steps to a better moodDC.

Don't give up on December yet.
Switch off from that dreadful job, and be kind to yourself.
I know what you mean about how your mood influences the family. It's the same here. I have almost given up getting down, because it starts everyone else off and then I not only have to pull myself out of the doldrums, but the others who've somehow managed to sink deeper than me. It's too much like hard work. I prefer the listen to my body and spoil myself, when it's getting to much route, as it's good for everyone.

What is January going to be:

Naughty Hypno.....
Juicy January and Jaffa Cake January are definitely out for me as it is the month of the ABS.
I've got my 30 day shred DVD and weightwatchers online, through quidco, organised and ready.
All that is left is for me to eat myself stupid until January 1st 2010, so that I can reap the full benefits.
