Hi, I went today as well and was told that no-one from the service department was here and so I would have to come back.
Apparently they only work until 5.30 on weekdays and until 12.30 on Saturday which makes it difficult working office hours.
But if I did have a test drive outside these hours, what would they do then? Surely they wouldn't ask me not to have a test drive just because the service department is not open...0 -
Hi,
We also did a test drive but at the end of it the salesman said at that showroom it was admin who did nectar and they werent in til tomorrow. I saw him photocopy the nectar card and take the voucher - I'll be looking forward to the rewards too. They werent busy at all - I was really surprised!!0 -
Just back form our local dealer.....really nice guy....good conversation.... and no pressure...asked me for my card before we went and processed it afterwards...some admin staff were in working ....went for a spin in a CMax...bit too big for me, I like my Fusion....and just out of interest he made me a great trade-in offer on my car....a good deal all round...thanks to OP.
(PS ordered a silver one  )0 -
went to our local stealer today at 11,30am, they said one other person had been in with the voucher prior to me and I didn't need to book a test drive, wanted a spin in the fungus st but it wasn't ready so didn't bother - they can't process the points until tomorrow but they copied the nectar card and seemed good peeps so we shall see
ta op - good spot!0 -
There is a website that sells past issues of newspapers, can't remember the name of it but it's quite reasonable. Mabye 2-4 quid for £50/£100 worth of nectar points.
Worth a try I guess0 -

My Mum called her local participating dealer as listed on the site.He said' Are you looking to buy a car?' She said yes, but the nectar points were an added incentive. He said.'We're not participating any longer.' :eek:0

Went to Bristol Street, Ford Dealer, and I think the sales person was a bit miffed at me being honest and just saying I only want the points.
But then took a photocopy of my nectar card and my driving license, and said he would get the service guys to process tomorrow as others have said, they were unable to process on the nectar machine on a bank holiday.0 -
Got my points straight away without taking a test drive and have a receipt to show that I spent £10,000 at the showroom and earned 10,000 points. Might show it to the missus for a wind up!!
:rotfl:
Many thanks to the OP.
Obviously no problem adding the points on a Bank Holiday at my Ford showroom.0 -
