BE QUICK!... 10,000 Nectar points (£50) for Ford test drive

Thank you Roger for your help and advice. I phoned local dealer again today, spoke to a different person (third one in as many days) and now no problem they are nectar dealers (pity the weekend staff don't know) and offered to process without test drive if wanted. OH wants to test drive so have arranged one. 10000 nectar points, excellent result. Would probably have accepted garage wouldn't process points and given up without your input.

I've booked a test drive for Wed, but did not ask about nectar points. They show as being a nectar dealer on the website. Any suggestions

Just got my points put on. Gave me a receipt for them as well :j


Didnt have to do a test drive, I went in and asked to book a test drive to get the nectar points he asked which car i was interested in, said i dont mind as i am only doing it for the points, he said give me teh voucher and your card i will put them on here and now for you :j

Easy £50 made for about 5 mins effort was going past anyway to go to sainsburys!!!!

Me too, I went yesterday by mistake (starts today), he said nectar machine was in workshop but too copy of my card and the ad and said he would process today.

Why would the nectar machine be in the workshop...hmmm!

Bought another paper yesterday so will go to another dealer and ask for a receipt this time as another poster said they received receipt.

Where are all your dealers who are giving points without the drive? We went in today and were very honest about everything, said we weren't bothered when the drive was or what in as we were only really doing it for the points. He said he couldn't give us the points without a drive as you have to do the test drive to get the points, but that he couldn't book us in at the moment with them being short staffed (due to Bank Holiday) and that they wanted to give priority to buying customers otherwise the lads won't get paid today. Seems odd as we said to him that we don't want to waste your time and we appreciate we won't be given priority but makes me wonder why we couldn't just get the points to save their mither?

He also said it isn't the dealer who issues the points, it's Ford UK - so I doubt any of the dealers will mind how many people do it for points aside from the issue of them not making a sale.

You can only do it once per nectar account

Yes - certain. The Registration form has two cards on a pull off strip at the bottom.

Thats the same story I got when I went in today, they can't add them today because the service department is closed and they need a pin number for the nectar machine. You receive nectar points for service and spares apparently.

He's copied my licence and took my nectar number to add them tomorrow.
