can I pick up a card at sainsburys?
I did (from their fuel-station kiosk) but it was about a year ago, so I don't know whether they still do them or not, sorry
Thanks to all who post constructively.

I believe that they take it off you - they are debited for the cost, to them, of Nectar providing the points, so will keep it for their accounting.

Well thats what I'm going to try an get a test drive in, been wondering how it compares to my current Seat Leon Cupra R.... :D

The ST has got more torque, which is available lower down the rev range than on the 1.8T's so it should feel a bit nippier, the old volvo lump is a bit of a beast but knowing ford, the weight of the engine will be offset by the tin foil chassis :rotfl:

Still a free test thrash, I mean drive is a free thrash, i mean drive :D

lightways, a Nectar card is a separate card to any store credit cards, with it's own number.
Just registered with nectar online, hopefully it comes quick, please excuse if this sounds weird - but - it states on nectar forms to add points whilst shopping just hand to assistants whilst paying - right, now, this is my question, do we hand it in like a boots advantage card, collect points but pay seperatly?
Plus is it faster to get a nectar from sainsbury's, sainsburys nectar cards ?
    or is that different?
Sorry im new to nectar as you can tell

That's exactly right, treat it as a normal store loyalty card.

    Would you believe it?

The OH only picked his brand new focus up a month and half ago and guess what he fancies a new fiesta, requires a test drive i thinks.

We will have to drive up there in the van though!!!

  • You can get the cards from BP - went down the local garage and got an envelope from them that has two cards in - one for me and one for a friend. You can use it straght away - just need to register (either online or by form) to redeem the points.
  • I picked up two papers earlier but only I drive ( my partner hasn't got her license yet).

To get the two sets of points would I be best to:-

    a) Set up two seperate test drives in my name at two different Ford dealers but use different nectar cards each time

or b) Set up two seperate test drives - one in my name and one in hers - and then tell the guy that she's not feeling well, I'll be doing the test drive instead of her, when I go for the test drive in her name?

I quite fancy driving one of those StreetKAs!!! :) Wouldn't dream of buying one (yuck - Fords! lol!!) but they look like fun!
