I dont know of anyway of getting round the irritating Barclays PinSentry. Why they persist in doing it that way is beyond me,0

i have a barclays current account that is NOT PS enabled.
since they updated their login and home page EMM fails to load it up
oh, and A&L now hangs most of the time due to them having that annyoing "improvments" page before going to your accounts summary.0 -

EMM implys that its possible. When you add or edit a barclays account its says
The 4 pieces of information do not include the passcode, so implies that someone who is not exempted from PINsentry can bypass it by entering the 4 pieces of information. This doesn't work for me and I didn't get a very good response from Egg about it.
To update Barclays accounts without
using the PINsentry device please
also enter the bottom 4 pieces of
information.
Passcode is only required if PINsentry
has been exempted for this account.0 -

I have one non PINsentry account and its also not working via EMM. But I expected it not to work as Barclays have updated their site. I would assume it will be fixed in a couple of weeks which is the usual for Egg.0
