Me too Muffy! Despite entering this every day bar one this was all I had won! Gutted that it transpires that I didnt even do that! ARGHHH Not having agood comping week - found 68 unposted postacards, all filled in ready to post, dated between 30.6 - 16.7 yesterday - was so, so, so peed off! x

I was waiting for a haircare set, so sent off a swift email - received reply saying it was a completely different 'me' on the other side of the country had won.

I don't believe for one instant that it was, but I've no come back as my name *could* be quite common - although not in the comping world...going to have to add a random bit in to help distinguish me!!!!! :mad:

Bring back Phoebe - she was great! The whole promo could have been dealt with better - by emailing instead of just names on a list (duplicate name on the same list as well as 'too many' winners selected)

if you email the winners then there is no distinguishing thing is there.

Also why email this to every participant -surely it should have just gone to those that were on the 'other' 250.

seems rather odd the more we think about it doenst it.

There is not a hope in hell that someone would share my name. (I think!!!!) I havent found another uk person with my name.

My daughter's had an email as well as our surname starts with a W we are right at the bottom of the list she has emailed them to say she's not 'happy'

I am near the top so dont think that it was done alphabetically. I think the list was just made that way to make it nicer.

Fingers crossed they run the comps again next year. If they get inundated with complaints then they may be put off. It looks like the person in charge that draw day made a mistake and he / she will be taking a lot of flak from colleagues at Glamour.

but what is suspicious is how long it has taken to notice this 'mistake'

if the mistake was made surely it would have been noticed within a few days not a month or so???

wow that is awful, how can they do this??? i am sooooooo sorry for you and everyone else that was let down by glamour!! i might expect it of a small company.... but not glamour!!! you would think they would offer something in way of compensation!

That's a shame, sorry for those of yo who've lost out . I'm still awaiting two wins from this comp - the dry shampoo and the lip gloss, I'm wondering if I'll get those now too.

Well I have some good news for you folks! I too received the email telling me i wouldnt be getting my prize after all and was gutted. Then this morning postie knocked with a parcel and what was inside? Yup a Blink make up case and a cute little compact mirror to match?!
