    I thoroughly recommend:

Hazelnut Choc spread - delicious and only 57p! DH used to only like Nutella - he is now converted!
Frozen Garlic Bread - 33p per baguette
Pitta breads - small, but a nice size for my lunch and only 17p!

I'm not a regular Asda shopper, more a Sainsbury's shop - their value range gets my vote - but it is a case of trying and seeing what is worth it and what's not!

    Hiya

I always buy SP peanuts, bombay mix, custard creams, kitchen roll, loo roll, sometimes chopped toms, chicken legs (great in Chicken Chasseur)

OH wont let me get anymore!
I have learnt from my in-debt days....never again!

ohh just though other bad iteams avoid smart price peas and sweetcorn they are particualy bad .
  • Smart price custard creams are very nice, only 30p for quite a big packet

Also bourbon creams, the little chocolate chip cookies, bought some milk choc digestives but these got munched before I tried them.

Kitchen roll, not the most absorbant but does the job

Chicken breasts, cheap good quality chicken, maybe not so ethical but if your on a budget not much you can do. Its actually really nice chicken good sized fillets, but I find theres more bits that need to be chopped off than in more expensive chicken

Foil and sandwich bags are good. Sponge scourers are ok for light work, can't really complain at 5 for 15p, but the larger ones 10 for £1 do alot better job

Part baked bread again very nice
Just me, in my own little world

  • the chicken soup tins are disgusting, but we get alot of other stuff that is fine
