The VLA website gives the dates for council districts and they start on next Monday 10th July. Presumably they will be on the website first.NAR wrote:Or to be more precise, a total of nine tranches will be delivered province-wide over the next seven weeks.

Just noticed there is a calculator which gives a rough estimate of what you will pay based on your capital value.

It seems to confirm the 0.6% which had been talked about before!Never argue with an idiot. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.0 -
Hi,
Most people should have received their letter about the re-evaluation by now. We live in a terrace and our rates are set to go up by more than £200 - ouch!
However, we are going to appeal this as both our back entry and the entry our house looks out on are 'unadopted' and so are more jungle-like than anything else - unsightly, bringing down house value never mind the weekly struggle to get the bins out.
Also, there is a delapidated house on our street which is devaluing all the houses on our street.
Just thought i would point this out - if there is anything that might devalue your house and so merit a lower bill it's always worth a try.
