    hiya everone :)

Hope you dont mind me posting again but.. you may remember last week I found the dregs of a half bottle of vodka in my sons room? Well... I've just found a bottle of sherry(!) of all things... it's been opened but I would say barely tasted cos it's full.. he's not home for me to ask about it and I really don't know what to think.. I'm 99% sure he's not drinking.. I smell his breath sneakily n stuff like that so !!!!!! has he got it for???

    Maybe he's making a trifle Ethel :D

Sorry I know its serious. Sherry, thats a bit odd. Is it from a particular shop, ie is it Asdas own or something, you might get a better idea where it came from.

Just ask him where it came from and what he's doing with it, you have a right to be a bit more upset this time. It might be time to bring out what happened to all the other people around him with alcohol.

I don't know, I should really hesitate to give you advice on this, as its so important.

The very best of luck sorting it out anyway.

Thanks beer.. its called Superior Gonzalez Byass Jerez. It looks quite old, like it's been in the back of a cupboard for years or something. I've asked me mum if she's missing a bottle of sherry and she's going to check but shes got a padlock on her drinks cupboard to stop sticky fingers, so i don't see how it could have come from there. tis weird indeed

Hello - I'm not a new member really - using the old psuedonym trick here. Have been reading thread for a while.

My husband is an alcoholic - I've known for years but he has only recently admitted - I have a young family and don't know if I can go on much longer.

Is there my 24 hour support for families or is it just al-anon meetings.. I'm in bits - that's me.. in bits .. my family in bits... my husband drunk in bed - another cut on the head from falling over - another half bottle of rot gut spirits downed in one - same as last night..

Thank you so much for all the infomation fg. I have to logoff after every post in case a youngster sees what I'm doing. But I'll have a look after bedtime - I don't get much sleep anyhow.
