I had Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Counselling. Felt good for a few days after each session, but didn't help in the long run. Was also on citalopram - does perk you up once you're other the initial downer from going on them. Not sure I'd like to go back on them or not.matched betting: £879.63

Did you ever discover if there was an underlying cause?

It`s not really about the amount of alcohol that you drink - more the effect it has on you. I would drink 3 or 4 cans of Tennants (9%) on a work day,a couple more if not working. At the very end, this went up to 7/8 cans over a 24 hour period. I didn`t really have `days` then. I drank a few, slept a bit and started again round the clock. Each can would last me 2 hours or more - I just sipped now and again to stay topped up. In rehab, the others told me that I couldn`t be an alcoholic as I didn`t drink enough. Even my doctor told me that I wasn`t alcoholic.
Made a mistake yeaterday. Bought a lovely looking cheesecake thingy from Waitrose (half price). Now I`ve read the description "A rich tart of mascarpone, sour cherries and Limoncello liquer in a butter pastry case". I can`t eat it, DD hates cherries and ex-wife on Cambridge diet. I`ll see if the neighbours want it - shame to bin it.0 -

My mum tends to play it safe - she doesn't have anything that contains any alcohol or tastes like it. She also uses alcohol free mouthwash and doesn't drink non-alcoholic wine and stuff.
I've got lots of tiramsui, hoping that won't trigger a craving.
I'm doing better aren't I al mac? I'm getting somewhere aren't I?Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -
