I think you can:D You just need to do it, you tend to think the worse of yourself and think others do as well;) We don't and I'm sure real people don't either:D
PS I've seen your picture, if I was 20 years younger and not married..........0 -

its best to go to an online meeting if not a real one you'll get your answers more quickly there jayne. i stopped cause i knew i had i a problem i've been in treatment twice locked up once hit my mrs !!!!ed the bed all sorts of tragic things. told myself i would stop but never could for any ammount of time and was misable when i did. the last time i stopped was this time and i found the fellowship of AA CA and NA and the 12 step program and aint looked back since. or maybe i have but have no interest of going back to where i came from. none at all.

you will find my first post on the first thread.
I was in a hole even I didn't realise at the time how big it was, I said I was drinking every other night, actually I think it was more than that. Nine, ten pints a night. Unbelieveably on a binge day much more than that. This is 5%+ beer here not Carlsburg.
I say it again, as I've said it before, if it hadn't been for the people on here, I truly believe I would be dead or completely f****d up in the head.
I almost lost my family, still could tbh, I can't fall back...........
I knew I had a problem for many years, couldn't admit it. My OH was away I was on the verge of suicide, it was reach out somewhere, or just do it. I reached out“Pleasure of love lasts but a moment, pain of love lasts a lifetime.”0 -
god lewt that is scary reading and only because i can relate to it. Had physical fights, not wet the bed, but did puke in front of the doctor and nurses when they had to re-hydrate me in casulity, after a horendous all puking day hangover from hell. what is ca and na. What is the medication they give you now. I went to see the doctor at about 18 with a drinking problem, my brother died young blah blah couldnt cope.. they gave me diazapam (spealt wrong i know) still remember that horrible tunnel feeling, numbing but not in a good way!!!!0
