Well done hun angel7.gif , you now know you've got extra backup there too, if you ever need it :j

As far as not eating goes, I found that sweet stuff to nibble worked and it provides energy ;) . Soup could be useful too, if you slowly work your way up to really thick broths which were as much food as drink to get your stomach used to real food again :)

:grouphug: hun don't bother about OH ;)

Well, just been to yet another dinner and disco event:confused:

Think Mrs Mac does this to challenge me;) We seem to go to many more of these "drinking" events now that I'm not:eek:

    Happy to admit I fancied a glass of wine:D Didn't have one:mad: Previously I've fancied a vodka:o So getting better:T

We had a chat on the way home and I said I'd fancied a wine, but still not sure, she said she's concerned how it might go wrong. Fair enough.

Probably need to mention the brief urges for a drink are changing and the drink each time is less of an alcholics drink, if you see what I mean.

Find it fairly easy to talk to people about not drinking and why, don't say I'm an alkie:o One bloke tonight said he'd had four pints of Grolsch at the pub. In 45 minutes prior to coming to the do:eek: I don't think I'm that bad after all:cool:

Anyway I'm just giving myself a pat on the back, again:rolleyes: Feel free to ignore:p

Well I think it’s about time I admitted to myself that I do have a drink problem.. :o After years of drinking wine every night and putting sooo much weight on, throwing moods, and blaming everyone else for my behaviour, I admit it.

And on this I am leaving mse for now and all my AE’s to see if I can finally sort it.

Not sure why you need to leave MSE to sort yourself out but best of luck

For what it is worth your post rang so many bells with me. I also drink wine each & every night, & have piled on so much weight it's unbelievable. I do however get a lot of encouragement from the thread & individual members (although they may not always know this) & therefore for this reason alone would encourage you to continue to be an active member of MSE & use this particular thread as it was initially intended, to help people such as yourself & to be included in such a special way. The choice is yours , but I hope you will have the courage to post on a regular basis.

    With best wishes J x

Another successful evening then Al, well done <pat on back> :D

Hi mandi, don't see why you need to leave MSE  Admitting to a problem is very brave of you so don't worry about what anyone else thinks :grouphug: , there's way more people busy not admitting it to themselves
If you want to talk you know where the thread is hun, take care :)
