    deep sigh

    wot i have learnt...
    a) you either have a GP who hasnt got a clue wot an alocoholic is/means
    b) you have a GP who kind of understands addiction and alcohol
(which if you havent been there done that, i dont think it is possible
    for anyone to understand) :o:o:o

    x

on the whole a good day for me... havent managed to eat anything but
ive had a complan this morning & a few dextrose tablets... fluid intakes
abit poor but im working on it :A

i no that the next week is going to be really hard...
the desire & cravings are going to start... ive just got to keep
a focus on my sobriety & keep the will to be free from my demon

    how is everyone...

Wish I could promise you everything will be great :( It has got a lot better for me, but Mrs Mac, although not understanding, has been very supportive and caring :) The thing you have to cling to and use as a crutch in times of desire(?) is you want to see you children grow up. You've seen posts here from children who despair of their parents :( Don't be one of them :)

I'm hoping you find the courage to go today and will be sending shedloads of positive vibes your way.

    wot i have learnt ...

    a) even GP's who haven't a clue ... will still want to take a blood test to check on your back pains. They still have the knowledge bank of resources to refer to and offer to you.

    b) the understanding one's may well have either personal experience, or have touched on the experience in family/close relationships. They will be able to take blood tests to check how your are faring and investigate the back pains. They have a knowledge bank of resources to refer to and offer to you.

    c) While most things are possible to achieve on our own ... it's a lot easier when given the right support - whether from an a) GP or a b) GP, having support, physical, emotional, empathetic, practical can only make your resolve stronger and help through any potential weaker times.

    d) Finally, as far as I'm aware, nothing you have done is a hanging offense ;)

Wishing you the very best on deciding the right action for *you* today, ac.
