Ted_Hutchinson wrote:Well you're not the only one. I haven't got my pack/notification yet but as my partner is second name on the policy she has been informed that she doesn't qualify but did get the book.
When I phoned(in slight panic) to ask if/when I would get mine I was told it had been issued and was in the post. So hopefully tomorrow. Some people will not get their packs until the end of the week.
Thanks ,its nice to know that i'm not panicky and grumpy alone !0 -
Yep, personally I wouldn't panic if you don't get your pack until the end of this week - with 2.4 million members and the size/weight of those envelopes it's down to how quickly the Mail get them out really.0

Got the pack today 261 shares estimated at £2.40 to £2.90
I am pleased and disapointed wasn't sure if I would get any but would have liked more.

I'm a bit puzzled by this as according to page 22 of SL's blurb only the trustee of a group pension scheme is eligible, not individual members of the group scheme.
My wife has received no allocation for her group scheme so I assumed that the trustee of her scheme would receive just one share allocation, and this could be split between all scheme members. I was about to write to them on my wife's behalf and ask what they proposed to do with the share allocation.0 -

This rule applies to occupational money purchase pension schemes.
With group personal pension schemes, the individual is the member.Trying to keep it simple...0 -

I've just had notice of my Standard Life share allocation. I took out a £30K endowment in 1986, I've been allocated 830 shares. LLoyds gave us £4K compensation for mis-selling the policy last year, so I suppose things aren't too bad.
If there is a yes vote for demutualisation would it be better to hang on to the shares or sell them? Can anyone offer a bit of advice please?0 -
Got mine too. How much would they be in money terms roughly?
Mortgage Endowment 27K for 25 years at £33.67 per month for female.
Started 27th October 1989
Allocated 485 shares (still think it's cr*p)
Do you think I should save them for the 5% extra or just put them in an ISA or something? I've never had an ISA before so wouldn't know where to startThanx

Lady K got 485 X approximately £2.65 = approximately £1,2850
