Thanks for the responce. Ive had another look tonight and the green on his ear is the same you get when you wear cheap rings, that metallic green stain. I actually got it done at a well know jewelry chain. Im going to go to a another piercing shop an show them and see if they can help. Thanks for all the responces from the people who had genuine advice.

    Thanks again

    Rachael

It does seem like they have used cheap studs to pierce his ears. Worst case is that you will have to take the studs out let them heal and then have them re-pierced with better studs.
By the way I see nothing wrong with a 9 year old having pierced ears I don't think it is anything unusual.

I did sign a consent form, and even though I didnt actually want him to have it done, he really wanted it. I'd say 9 was a reasonable age and I dont think anyone would think twice if I said 9 year old girl!

I would - 9 is far too young in my opinion.

So do I. wouldnt you rather you boy grew up into a man rather than a !!!!!! with ear rings. How stupid do they look on boys.
Who I am is not important. What I do is.

I would get the stud changed as soon as possible and use salt water to clean it. Most tattooists do have piercing studio as well, go see one and see what they suggest. Salty water is the best and will heal it pretty quickly.

Please remember everyone this is a piercing that can be taken out at any time. As for a !!!!!!, that is some judgement to make on someone because of a stud.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    MEDICAL ADVICE
