even better if you want a 24" screen.
to buy the screen alone is £751
to upgrade this package with a 24" is £686
Cheers MikeT for showing me that one

I am still trying to work this one out?? Replace a £193 monitor for an extra £686 is better than £751??
Now, if you bought both then sold the 19" for £150 then you have upgraded for £600 that is a different matter.

I can't figure out how to get to this price; says I should choose the downgraded version to get to this price but I just can't see how to get to it!0
-
Go to customise and buy, just opt for the 90 day warranty - that should do it0
-
Thanks so much but I can't find the 90 day warranty - I guess I'm blind this morning...... I put it in the basket and with VAT, comes out at £393. Do you have a direct link to get me to the £299 price? Thanks again.
Edit - sorry, just found it. Thanks0 -
It took me a while to figure it out too.
Thanks Iain, this'll do very nicely for my son's birthday

You pay £387.75 extra which works out a lot cheaper than if you were to buy the monitor by itself.0 -
Hi again would this one be ok for broadband? Also, what would I need to buy to connect 2 computers?0

These will be fine for broadband.devon-gnome wrote:Hi again would this one be ok for broadband? Also, what would I need to buy to connect 2 computers?
Its not really the quality of the computer that gives you broadband, rather the connection/service of broadband that you pay for.
To network two computers you will need a network hub (router/switch) and some CAT5 cable (2- one for each computer). Hubs are around £10, cable £2. (https://www.aria.co.uk are pretty good)
if you want to share your broadband connection then you will either need to setup Internet Connection Sharing (if your modem is USB), or get a ADSL modem/router that will replace the need for a seperate network hub, and also remove the need for the computer connected to the modem to be left on all the time.
hope that helps...0
