i have run the avg removal tool 32 bit ? and clicked on it a black screne apeared and mesage said this will remove all avg something or other lol the did it do it ? afterwards the screen disapeared so has that done it ? nothing to say you were succsesful or anything.
i uninstalled avg then i installed avira then run the tool remover hope i done that ok

update shorty although i have a sneaky suspicion it is the touchpad or keyboard because its when iam actually typing that the problem arises......feels like that but i will plug in a mouse to rule out or in

Espresso......i have looked at the settings etc and not sure what to do i have looked for updates for the touchpad and keyboard and aparently all is up to date... i have just reduced the cursor blink rate in keyboard properties ! no jumping yet but it could be a flook lol

Sound to me like your lightly touching the touchpad when you type.
One reason I use IBM Thinkpads (additional to the titanium chassis, and rock solid build), they have a trackpoint mouse and the touchpad can be disabled in the system BIOS
You may be able to reduce the sensitivity of the touchpad.....“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

Do you have a Synaptics touchpad icon in your system tray or in Control Panel? You should be able to change various settings e.g. tapping, sensitivity etc.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
