  • Hello friends,

Just a quickie - I will come back when I have read the thread and post properly but I haven't heard anything from Tris or our mutual friend, and I cannot get through on the cell phone number I have for our friend - keep getting messages about unable to connect.

Am worrying so much I haven't slept well and then poor Treacle our lil old lady cat had a fit at 0600 which was horrible.

    Never rains but it pours.

Thank you all for the good thoughts for Tris. I have to believe he is Ok but just unable to get online. I have to.

    Afternoon peeps

i`ve lurked on and off for the last couple of days but have managed to skim through quickly when i managed to get online.

Haribo - Hope that Dtwins leg is ok and healing well ((HUGS)) for her.

Mrs Moneypenny - Happy Anniversary :bdaycake:have a wonderful day

Diva - Hopefully you will recieve some positive news soon ((HUGS))

Well we are back from our hols and had a great time, the weather wasn`t fantastic but was good most of the time apart from the day before we came home when it poured down. We still went to the beach with the houndies though and were surprised to see many other peeps doing the same :D
There was one day in particular where it was scorching and we caught the sun, too much heat for little oldie though but it was only the one day. We did wonder whether or not to have a break this year but i`m so glad that we did as both the houndies loved it. The young monster really didn`t want to come back home and i must say that neither did we! I love Cornwall whatever the weather.

Welcome to all the newbies  i`m shocking at remembering names for ages so apologies for not naming names :o

Sunnygirl - I hope that Buster turns up soon safe & well

Ladyshopper - ((((HUGS)))) for Samantha cat

Diva - enormous (((HUGS))) for poor Treacle

My little black cat sends purry thoughts to all.

Both houndies are fast asleep and i`m half way through mount laundry, the ironing mountain is growing by the hour and i`ve nowhere to put any more so i shall have to slow down a bit with it until the weather improves, particularly wet and windy here today. I need to get everything organised before i`m back at w*rk tomorrow. The food shopping is done - i got up extra early to get to the shops before it got busy but i`m not very organised yet. I need to check all my reciepts later as i`m sure that i`ve blown the grocery challenge this month

Hey Ho best get on with it all.

    Have a lovely day peeps.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

How about lavender bags for your bedding shelves / drawers?

    Afternoon all,

    Happy anniversary to the Moneypennies.

Nice to see you Benthosboy, good to hear that life is good for you.

All Aussies of my acquaintance insist that Marmite is nothing like Vegemite...and I have known Kiwis who say that Marmite this side of the world is nothing like as good as theirs.

Halight...take it easy, good luck with doctor's appointment.

No hedgerow fruit of any kind available here yet, have been checking.

    Diva....hugs to you and Tristan....

Hope that all ill cats will recover soon....hugs from Thunder and Sile.

Hugs to all who are in need or want, welcome to newbies and congratulations to all who are celebrating.

    Hello mi dears,
Diva- aw poor you, lots of positive thoughts being sent, and hope Treacle feels better too.
Sunnygirl- you must be so worried about Buster, lets hope he turns up well, and soon.
Benthosboy- what a lovely post, glad youre doing Ok,quite cheered me up this morning.
NPM- on your behalf, they are in the wrong job.Hugs.
Happy Anniversary to the Moneypennies.Have a lovely day.
Hugs to anyone I missed or didnt mention, and welcome newbies.

Think the rain is stopping, good ,we've had the lights on all day.We are all at home at the moment as DH and DS2 have finished all their work they had,so belts tightened again.I can never get on the laptop when I want to either.

OS- I cooked a turkey that I got cheap after Easter,so should get lots of meals from that, smells good. Also I made some butternut and coconut soup,I had 3 squashes that I'd had for ages,so lots to freeze-not too much room in the freezer tho',even with the turkey gone :D Still,we might need to start living out of the freezer if no work comes in so its just as well its full.

Right ,think I'll have a brew and a sit down, not stopped all day really.
    Take care all.x
