Morning all and a big HI to Martyn - was thinking about you just the other day - lovely to hear it's all going so well.

Essex-girl - you've actually reminded me about online shopping - since being in this new job I have struggled with meal planning - there are no shops near my work and the commute is an hour so without the bike I have been breaking my journey and shopping every day - I will do a proper plan tonight and an order.

Anyhoo work beckons - have a good day everyone
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    .

Have you fed them ? I am feeding mine about once every two weeks, also top up the compost on them, and water well, and keep s*xing them up with the paint brush :D xxx

MSD - still sending positive thoughts your way.
Halight - good luck at doctors.
Bitsy Bean - indoor play centre? Good luck!!! :D

Well, another one here with rain rain rain. Be a good day for the kids to go though their wardrobes and have a good sort out. It is one job on the list I've done for them, if they do all 8 jobs to my satisfaction (!!) they get £5. We'll see.

Phoned the vets this morning, Samantha the foster cat is doing well, and they are going to go ahead with her dental today. They want to keep her in for another night afterwards though, so won't get her back until tomorrow. Fortunately RSPCA pick up the bill for her, as I can imagine it will be a lot, but hopefully it will cure her gingivitus and she won't be in pain any more.

Still sat here in pyjamas, so might go and indulge in a nice warm bath.

    Have a good day.

Ladyshopper Glad your little puddy cat is ok. My lot send purrs to her :kisses3: One of my cats - a 4yr old boy called Buster - has been missing since Friday  He's the most affectionate one of all, he spends most of his time on my chest rubbing noses with me. I hope that he turns up. We've already been all over the estate and put some notices up so we'll have to see.

    Good morning everyone.

This is my first post on here so hope you don't mind if I join in.

Rain here today - grey and depressing - booooo. Need a bit of get-up-and-go today, seem to be dragging myself around - must be the weather.

Well the beds are nade, quick tidy around, dishes done, washing out on airers and another load in. Dd on last few days at school, ds still in bed on his computer - teenagers .

Todays plans - to gloss the skirting boards in downstairs hallway and the right-hand side of the stairs (left-hand side and upstairs skirting was done yesterday :T). Also, dentist appointment after lunch. After that, the ironing will be calling.

Hope everyone has a good day. Take care all.
  • Hi all
Any news MSD? Hope you hear something soon.
Pouring with rain today and chilly so indoor day...have just been with DS to take some food to the cat shelter box at the vets....some that Mr S delivered and fussy fatcat wont eat so some cat will be glad of it.
A man in the vets spoke to DS and DS said loudly "when that man speaks he lets a smell out of his mouth, some people do that dont they?":o:o:eek:...the whole say it as it is side of autism is getting embarrassing.
Had to go to a meeting at work yesterday about being off sick....they basically lectured me about how it left the NHS short staffed:rolleyes:...I cant help it if I am ill..I have had a terrible few weeks but do they care? Not one of the 3 of them asked how I was feeling....they are in the wrong job me thinks!..I have emailed the matron and told her that if she can find me a job on a different dept of the hosp doing my 2 set days then I will have it...cant take working with a bunch of cows anymore....for heavens sake I have had a migraine for 7 weeks almost permanently not to mention the fact that the GP prepared me for having a brain tumour when the headache didnt respond to tablets and I had to have scan etc..how do they think that made me feel but they are not bothered.
It has made me even more determined to get debts paid off and leave in the next 2 years:T
DS quite calm today and wanting to play games so may be a good day.....he is a joy to be with most of the time and it is nice to spend quality time with him.
Moliere the only lasting memory of French TV from when I lived there is a programme called Big Dil......check it out..its dire:rotfl:
Ladyshopper hope the cat is ok
Sunnygirl hope your cat comes home soon....fatcat has never gone out and she is 10 now so would not be safe.
Next door have a new kitten and DS loves her so much we have discussed it and will be getting a kitten near the end of school hols....:T..cant wait..it might give fatcat a new lease of life as she is such a lazy moo at the moment....spends most of her life sleeping on her back showing her bits and bobs:rotfl:
