Post them a copy of your tenancy agreement if renting or your mortgage papers if you purchased. They will legally need to amend this. If you're a tenant send them your landlord/lady's address and the bill will be sent on to them.

Thanks nicola (it is good advice) but...

you know what? I'm getting stroppy about this.

I don't see why I should show my personal mortgage documents to someone that really has nothing to do with me. Or actually do anything further at all. I have discharged my duty by ringing Npower so now they can dig as big a hole as they like for themselves.

Did I mention I may be a bit hormonal today.... :o

Npower are hopeless. When I moved into my house I had it changed to British Gas a few days after I moved in. Npower kept sending more and more bills, despite the fact that I had told them I was disconnecting and given them a meter reading. It went on for literally months. After every bill I would call up to be told I'd have to write in. I wrote in every time and it was ignored (although they did manage to correct the spelling of my name which I pointed out in one letter).

Eventually it got to over £400 and they sent a nasty letter with it. I lost my rag with them and refused to get off the phone until I had spoken to someone who could actually sort it. I eventually did, and got an actual person to write to. I wrote to them and they finally cleared it off the system. I also told them that I would not be paying the weeks worth I had used and they wiped that too.

Since then I've hated Npower, so I wish you all the best in whatever you choose to do to them.

    Hey Aurora
You'll be wanting one of my specially chosen psychotic Alsatians you will.
Unfortunatley the best one is on loan to someone in 'affordable housing'

but I anticipate that it (haven't got close enough to see if boy or girl) will be returning in the near future.

    :p

Did have GS and she was the daftest thing you could ever own. Unless you talked on the doorstep for too long then she'd take the visitors arm and gently lead them to the pavement as if to say 'you can go home now'.

Also had Rotty - she was also daft as brush but would bark and growl menicingly if you asked "who's there?". She would aslo pull like a train on the leash but walk to heel without one.

Can't have barking things now :( not enough time to work them now, have children instead.

Is there any prominant landmarks they need to look out for on their way to your house?
    Are you near a pub?

Sadly, no... I'll send a multimap and put a flag up in the event of bailiff trouble ;)
